CBN sef fall hand. They should have made the noted available country wide by now. While I support the move to help checkmate politicians ahead of the elections, their own failure in getting the new notes out widely enough means their Jan 31 deadline is not very tenable. NASS and politicians now have a reason to make noise for extension.

For what? It's pointless. People already know the new notes. The aim is to reduce cash hoarding and amount in circulation.

There is no need for 6months as it will still be same situation just that we have given more time to criminals.

The common man is the most affected but he's not bothered and has told Buhari and Emefiele to do their worst policy.
It's fellow thieves like reps and senators that's crying like bush babies on top new notes.
The sinner lll run when no one chaset.
Na Dem do policy, na dem dey cry.
No going back on 31st Jan deadline.
Re: Let’s Use Old, New Notes For 6 Months — Reps by Bennycollins: 1:49pm On Jan 27, 2023
The naira redesign was for some purpose and clearly it is to zcuttle money politics ahead of the elections coming.
The extension will therefore defeat the purpose.
I support the CBN even though it is to achieve a minor aim, and frustrate some targeted politicians.

Gbaja has been with Bubu, politically, for almost 8years and he still doesn't know him.
Someone needs to tell him how Buhari handled a similar situation back in the 80s, when he was Head of State.
grin He and his Tinubu have no idea whom they're messing with grin

If indeed, we believed that Emefiele has failed as governor of the Central Bank, it's foolish to expect any good thing from an Obi presidency. May God forbid evil to happen to our Fatherland.

What we don't see yet is the job loss waiting to hit the banking sector as we go cashless. What would be the need for bulk rooms in the bank when there is no bulk cash to pay? This is why all bank MDs and directors are in full support. They will receive N50 for every amount you receive and between N25 to N55 for every amount you send. More money, less salaries.

They are just using our hate for politicians against us and spreading news of policitians hoarding cash. This might be true, but the main purpose of this exercise is to go cashless.

My heart goes out especially to all bankers, begin to work on plan B now.

I am just racking my brain on how to tap into the tech hub.

Thunder fire all you criminals. New naira note deadline remains. Go hug transformers

You want to share 5k to buy our future and see us suffer for nothing. Later you will be hearing budget padding here and there. God will punish all the people that have enslaved Nigerian masses. You buy there future and see your people JAPA from their father land just because of your greed.

How can a man be sharing 5k per electorate and still perform after election? Impossible!!!
The day I fell in love with Peter Obi is the day he dropped out of PDP primaries because he refused to share monies to delegates. A billionaire for that matter ooo. He later said he would rather prefer to lose doing the right thing than win doing the wrong thing. Legend!!!

How can Atiku be contesting president for the past 4 dispensations? Where is the man getting his money from. Barawo. And some mad people are still campaigning for him and Tinubu. Just because of tribalism. As if fuel and food is sold in the market based on tribes.

Enough is enough, we either build our nation or we continue to be slaves living an unprogressive nation. I no get una time sef.

Nice one

As at yesterday the bank gave us a full brick of old N500 notes while their ATMs are not even dispensing at all. I really don't know where they want us to get the new notes that are not in circulation undecided

If you have a N100M cash stack in your safe at home, how do you take it to the bank without money laundering issue coming up.
That is the dilemma of some politicians now.
