It is not CBN's job to curtail vote buying, if the only thing you can see in this policy is how it will affect vote buying then CBN has failed again in it's mandate. We have EFCC, INEC and other security outfits to tackle this issue, your sentiment should be directed at them on why they fail to do their job. The CBN deadline needs to be extended as it is unrealistic and will hurt our economy.

Very true. I read this article that really analyzed the policy, and it gave it a score of 60%, and that was if they implemented it well. Looking at the way things are that 60% is now unachievable.

A lots of shop owners have stopped opening from today, some filling stations are already rejecting old notes.
