Corrinthians:
It is becoming all too obvious this policy wasn't thoroughly thought through before implementation. The only reason why the government is reluctant to shelve it altogether is the embarrassment it would suffer doing so.

The policy in itself is good, the execution is terrible.
Before saying the policy is good or bad, what is the policy? What is the aim
Surely it can be captured in no more than two sentences

Emefiele is very stupid. Very Very Stupid. So the whole currency change fracas at first wasn't a ploy to checkmate vote buying?

Emefiele your papa!

We need to take war to these people and burn their properties! Maybe when all their glasshouses are in flames, they would do the right thing. angry 😡😡😡😡

which Obi are you referring, I hope it is not Obituary that is lying ups and down...

The Obi that will shake Lagos today in the mother of all rallies. U will feel the shockwaves from TBS.
I need you to understand that Tinubu wasn't destined to be a king. He should stick to his role as a kingmaker.
Even the Buhari he helped bring to power has thrown him under the bus. Forget Buhari's campaign support for BAT which wasn't even voluntary in the first place, his body language clearly shows that Tinubu is his prime target.
Buhari is ready to leave office, but he isn't ready to hand over to Tinubu

Are you all dumb. If they don't want to print the notes. Use transfer. They are trying to enforce the cashless policy. Anything above 100 should be transfer. Like abroad.

What are you saying?
Does the transfer work?
My 100k has been hanging in the air for more than a week now. The customer service aren’t even replying messages.

Whoever believes that naira swap will curb vote buying is myopic.

Because it is not only money that can be used to buy vote

Naira is not the only currency that politicians can use to buy vote. They use dollar also.
Not just myopic but stupid to think so. Assuming naira note is not available, can't they buy food items to share?

It's even more insulting to think someone can win a presidential election by just mere vote buying. People who say so are indirectly saying all Nigerians don't have brains. The voting is a secret ballot voting ,so how can my vote be bought when I can just collect your money and still vote my choice

You people are very stupid if you think this is just for elections .

This policy will outlive elections and you will know suffering like never before .

Even if we go by you Osubidient logic and assume it's down to curbing vote buying, is the CBN in business to ensure credible elections ? Is tanking the economy and causing unnecessary hardship and sufferings trying to get cash for everyday transactions in a hyper inflated economy worth curbing vote buying?

Fools

I taya O ! since when did it become the duty of CBN to ensure credible election, funnily these is coming from an Emiefele that picked presidential form.

What more funny is that you see some naive supporters trying to justify whats not even obtainable anywhere in the world.

Emiefele and Peter Obi are brothers and it is not a surprise Obi sees good in whatever Emiefele does even if it is killing Nigerians, can an employee make these kind of blunder in an office and not get sack.
Implementing policies without proper planning and provision for contingencies, these people must really think Nigerians are dumb

My brother forget wishful thinking & let's be realistic. Obi resonates with the masses across the length & breadth of this country. Where he won't do too well (NW & NE), the 3 other major candidates will cancel out themselves; while none of them has 2 regions in the bag (SE,SS) like Obi.
Tomorrow Obi will shake Lagos, Tinubu's supposed home state. Obi will get not less than 45% of Lagos votes. Lagos is controlled by APC yet Obi will get massive votes there. Across the SW,he will have a good outing.

U dey joke o. Where in SW apart from Lagos?
