no paper to print currency, after you collected peoples old currency you realise no paper.
Nigerians dont run Nigeria, this is UK, France Europeans treating Nigerians this way.
cause buhari and all this traitors are just figure heads

This is European racists who run Nigeria from all those European embassies treating Nigerians like a waste of space.

Everything that happens in Nigeria will confuse you until you realise all Nigerian intuitions are working for racist in Europe.
That is why nobody calls Africans nigger more than the European controlled African governments, whose every act is another nigger damnation.

The only thing the Europeans that run Africa allows Africans abundance is enough stress to slowly cause nations wide insanity of over generations. As trying to get anything done in African country is filled with unnecessary stress.

At this point Only God can save Africans from enemies abroad and self hate as result of generations of stress induced insanity.

These are all the things you do to people you want to make extinct, cause they say those whom the gods want to destroy they first make mad.
And the European enemies of African people have been making Africans mad through stress for generations, so that all the African women are covering their head with thier enemies fur and think its fashionable , meanwhile those are the people that make sure you have no light at night and roads so dangerous its a death sentence, the people that make sure anybody in need of serious medical care has to leave africa to get help.

Thats whose fur you hide your hair under, the people who took away your money and told you no paper.
Are the same people all African women are telling , we too ugly to show our head in public, can we borrow your fur.

All the things that Nigeria is doing to its people, is the type of punishment those who leave Nigeria get from racists on individual basis.

Truth: If Tinubu, APC governors don't release new notes they may be hoarding, Buhari & CBN won't print new notes until after 11 March 2023.

Buhari & Emefiele are master strategists against vote diabolical vote buyers.

Finally, someone with the mental capacity to reason. Such a relief!
Too many daft people on this forum.
Think before you type at least.
What will be the fate of uneducated people in villages all around the country??
Should they revert back to the age of using cowries as a means of trading??
A policy like this requires for proper implementation in a country like Nigeria. There has been several cases of people doing online transaction without the beneficiaries getting credited even though money was deducted from the account of those that made the transaction and till date there's no reversal of the money removed. A policy like this should have been in effect for a long time irrespective of the reasons for it. Learn to think like the supposed educated fellow you are.

Its clear CBN does have the capacity to produce enough new notes to phase out the old ones within the given time limit it had earlier given. The reasonable solution is to allow both the old and new notes to be used to alleviate the suffering of the masses.

It is becoming all too obvious this policy wasn't thoroughly thought through before implementation. The only reason why the government is reluctant to shelve it altogether is the embarrassment it would suffer doing so.

The policy in itself is good, the execution is terrible.

Its a clear indication that the policy was just to incite the public against the APC/Tinubu, but what they never anticipated was that Tinubu will go out in public and attack the presidency. its just like when a mother slaps her child she never anticipate the child will slap back ... but Tinubu shock them cheesy

Now ask yourselves if the new currency was to stop vote buying as they claim does it mean prior to elections we will continue to change currency. is it viable & feasible undecided
if politicians can't buy vote in 2023 won't they try again in 2027., will they change currency again, 😄

shame on Peter Obi & Atiku and every other person that stood against Nigerians for selfish interest.

Fool, I have over 50k hanging in the name of transfer for purchase of petty items and was forced to pay twice either with another bank transfer or with new notes I bought for 1k for 10k notes.

And FYI, even when I get a reversal , the thieving banks never refund the cost incurred in using their useless app.

Is that not flat out robbery ?

No be small thing. I have encounter same thing b4.

Use platform like Opay, Palpam etc for transfer and save the reciepts after the transaction.

As long as there is a mobile network, there is 99 percent chance it will be successful. Transfers are also free.

And when transferring money, don't transfer everything all at once. For instance if you bought something of 20k, you could send it twice (10k each)..just Incase wahala wan happen.

Physical banking systems like first bank, access, gtb and the rest, basically depends on three types of network to be available. Whereas digital wallets platforms like Opay, Kuda, palmpay only depends on two types of networks.

Don't mind them. They don't want to adapt to change. Simple as ABC some Nigerians wants to remain in the old way of life. Change is constant it doesn't look Rosey at first but in the end everyone will be okay. Cashless policy is a goal.

I usually support the cashless policy, but talking about the convinence and seemless operation of the cashless policy is something else. I have no problems doing transfers, but when you realize person A, B, C and D are not accepting transfers, because it's either the money is too small or they don't know how to do the mobile banking stuff, then you need a rethink. Bike man no collect transfer, how do you transport yourself, food sellers saying those in the rural area are not accepting transfers from them, so they too can't accept transfers. Filling station insisting they would only accept cash. The normal 200 to 500 purchases you normally do, they tel you they don't accept transfers and banks long queue, after hours of waiting, money finished on the ATM. That's Nigeria for you bro

So what now happens to the average educated Nigerians as the online banking platforms are unreliable and there's no cash?? Are you saying that people buying and selling collect transfer for goods like ₦200 and so on??
What happens to the average uneducated Nigerians that doesn't have a clue how to operate the online banking platforms, do you think their life should go to a standstill because of that??

2023 is one of many elections Nigerians we experience in there lifetime does it mean naa every election we go dey change currency

Buhari and Eniefele are strategist, coming from a Peter Obi supporter despite what Nigerians have gone thru in the last 7yrs show thoee supporting Peter Obi never meant well for Nigeria. What they carry is resentment & hate for Nigeria being a 3rd class

Are you all dumb. If they don't want to print the notes. Use transfer. They are trying to enforce the cashless policy. Anything above 100 should be transfer. Like abroad.

Sometimes I guess you people don't live in Nigeria. Use transfers with porous networks ? In some instances you transfer it will take over 8 hours before the recipient receives it and sometimes it reverses back the money to the person that sent it. I have seen this happen alot lately. We can't compare ourselves to abroad when there are lots of infastructural deficiencies hindering cashless policy.
