SAFO:

Apapa amusement park, or Ikoyi club if they're still around.

Last time I checked, it was a junkyard.

Depends on budget

Radisson Blue got a restaurant (Ozumba mbadiwe)
Soul Lounge (palms)
Four Points by Sheraton (Lekki) they got nice restaurant too

The Island's got 100s of places.

Low budget Oniru/Elegusi

Or if you do movies

Silverbird from the movies you can drive down to the beach and spend some time eh eh , I dont really plan hard on dates you can discuss with her and you both agree on how to spend the time

Who is this fool named Mr. Cork? For someone who lives in England, your spelling is terrible
Post says nice place in Lagos, Mr Dumb Cork mentions a place in England, and somebody is siding with him, so dumb, why cant you just contribute an opinion/ or respond appropriately.

Few places i tried, depends on your pocket though;
Get Arena.
Takwa Bay
So many Beaches
Bowling @ the Palms
Heard there's this great place @ Elegushi beach, but i haven't been there yet.

IMO Whispering Palms is the Most Romantic place in Lagos to go on a date & even the coldest of relationships will fire up on arrival at whispering palms grin

Whispering palms is cool, but the stress of taking a long drive there is not funny.

If she likes ice cream, take her to ice cream factory ( ICF ) off adeola hopewell in V.I ,  the street opposite pattaya, i promise you, she will love the ice cream there and there also have a good resturant upstairs.

and yes depending on your budget, you can go to raddisson blu, as someone said.

Elegushi beach is really cool too, especially in the evenings, i spend most of my sunday evenings there.

If the girl in question is adventurous, I will personally take her to Motherland, Opebi, Ikeja (watch Lagbaja live) OR to The New African Shrine, Ikeja (watch Femi Kuti live); both places are quite cheap to get in, the food and drinks are cost-effective as well.

Re: Places to go on a date in Lagos by funso77(m): 3:34pm On Sep 13, 2011
why do we always do these things at this forum? someone asked a very good question which at least each one of us would have just pointed out spot or something. look for creative ways to enlighten ourselves and know more about nice places that are out there. i get discouraged almost every time when nice posts/questions are raised by intelligent people and then the response from others are so uncivilized. if you don't have anything to say or contribute, why not just shut up or find something to occupy your thoughts with. Seun, some comments irrelevant to posts posted should be removed immediately sometimes when they have nothing to do with the post. common, you all.

Sorry my guy. . .but na you go do that research o!

I no dey that side so I cant tell you where to take her. . .it really does not have to be a beach.

Check this out . .grab some snacks, wait till the sun has gone down, find a place where it'll just be the two of you and nothing else is taking your

attention. This way you will be able to focus on each other . . 100%

I hope you get the drift . .good luck wink

I wonder if some peeps on this forum watch comedy shows with the way they react to some posts. Mr CORK is the baba suwe of nairaland! Plain and simple! He writes his (no offence) in dozen ways. Peeps should stop getting themselves worked up over Mr Cork's posts if they dont see the humour in it.
