Back where...queues at the banks...
SMEs still suffering..

Shoppers now patronises supermarket more than the road side sellers... because of the means of payment.

Now that Presidential elections has gone...can we have our peace as citizens... because this cashless policy is not just working in a cash dependent economy like ours.

Not sure but CBN governor is on his way

Don't get your hopes up. All those things Tinubu was saying we're just for election. It all might have just been a game

Re-introduction of old naira note into our economy should not be a topic to debate about for now , the old naira note issue as already been face out we’ve suffer for the consequences, what we should focus on now is how the new naira note will circulate and CBN should not be too hard on banks with implementing process we the masses will suffer it.

After the announcement by CBN that old notes are to be totally faced out by Feb 10, which was later extended by a week to February 17. And the excruciating cash crunch that followed the policy, certain APC Governors like El-Rufai, Dapo Abiodun, Ganduje etc were confident that Old naira notes will still be spent in Nigeria for a long time and called CBN bluff.

Do you think with the election results that has seen Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President Elect, that the policy will be scrapped and Old naira notes will be allowed to be legal tender again, at least until the new notes are evenly distributed in the country?

Personally, if I were BAT, I would just send a private and quiet message to be delivered through a discreet but influential individual in person to the CBN Governor. Reverse now, or you are gone by sundown on May 29th.

And not just gone oh, I mean gone and off to jail.

Every insult directed at President Buhari over this naira crunch is a well calculated and accepted insult by Buhari and APC.
Every right thinking human knows that APC contestants and APC as a party need to distant itself vehemently from that CBN policy even though both the opposition and APC knows that its a right policy and at the right time.
People underestimated what Obi can do interms of rigging and vote buying.
Donations of Obi support group and allied countries is becoming big and massive. Many bigot countries will support Obi with cash and no doubt it would have play a bigger role in places like Taraba, Rivers, North Central and many more other states.
Politics is calculation.
Tinubu setup his drawing board long ago. Giving lagos to Obi will no doubt comes with a repercussions in the not too far future though . APC forfeited their strongholds to target 25% and also to win some key states. They want opposition to concieve defeat easily and congratulate Tinubu without a lengthy court cases. Bad strategy with good outcome for APC.

The youths are not ready yet
Fut9ure:

We now see exactly where the problem is in Nigeria
North is really not the problem of Nigeria

But the South west

They are taking advantage of the fact that north and south east are not in good terms due to the war fought in the past to continue romancing the north

That devilish mentality and snake like nature will stop one day
Look at adeboye that led a protest during Jonathan era kept mute
South west got no reason to claim anymore that they are the most educated...this election open their yansh well.

The four major contestants were from the three major tribe
So it means we the South South are the one to choose the most suitable for Nigeria without biased because they are not our brothers
And we chose choose obi but due to tribalism the South west refused and supported a man who is sick mentally and physically...national anthem was going on he wasn't Aware

If you can't handover your daughter or sister for Marriage to a sick old man with dementia not physically and mentally fit. Some one not aware of his environment but still you want to support same man to head 220 million Nigeria at this point of our critical situation then may you and your family know no peace

If you are emotionally attached to your tribe, religion and political leaning to the point that the truth and justice becomes secondary consideration then your education is useless, your exposure is useless. If you cannot reason beyond petty sentiments. You are liability to man kind

Everyone should retweet and save this so that our future kids will know that at some point in the history of Nigeria we were caught in between the Devil( tinubu, atiku) and redemption( obi)
But the South west spoilt dragged us back because of tribalism

Every sane Nigeria should look at this and read a meaning to it
1) Tinubu political party and administration is ruling but he was unable to win Abuja where them sit down put
2) his own state of origin osun. Even a twelve year old will win thier own state yet he was unable to win

3) all development in lagos is attributed to Tinubu and he is regarded as the father of lagos yet he was unable to win

Nigerians should put on thier conscience and see that tinubu was rejected completely by Nigerians

I'm from the South South( Edo to be precise)

Definitely the old notes will return, that's why the new ones were few.
It was a political strategy.

We don’t need the old notes again, it’s time to go cashless , the government through the CBN should introduce trader POS machines and bus drivers

I think even before the inauguration and hand over to tinubu we may not be having much of the old hair I notes outside.
However, I believe he will make d swap/exchange mode more easier for those still having theirs.

He won't completely withdraw d policy. However he will only amend it favourably.

My mind is telling me this election is going to experience the most peaceful post election period. L.p. won't be pursuing any legal issues but PDP will.

There are so many benefits for the New Naira redesign. Topmost amongst them.

1. For a long time I have not heard News of kidnapping for ransome.

2. Yahoos Yahoo seems to have reduced.

3. You're likely to be tracked if you carry out an illigal transactions.

With the 3 reasons above I don't want the old naira notes to come back
