. Christianity is not a religion that I was born to a Christian home doesn't make you a Christian, that I am going to church doesn't make you a Christian.

Christianity is far beyond what people thought it is.
That you are named Paul or peter doesn't makes you christian.
Christian means Christ like it had to do with behavior and attitude not just a name.
Christianity has to do with personal entanglement with Christ not family stuff.

There's a great joy in being with Christ.

Nairalanders........2021, i was to the point of becoming an atheist. What's the reason......I kept using logic in everything termed spiritual.

Kept questioning many things about existence of God, relating it to science and arriving at 0 after everything.

It brought many calamities to me. Happiness varnished.

But today.......I give Glory to God

Please praise and worship Lord God with your whole heart and avoid linking it with logic.

Just believe. Happiness varnishes when you try to figure out some things beyond you

What is the evidence of Jesus resurrection?

First of all, it is an established fact of history that Jesus really exist, even the Jewish nation that hated Jesus and Christianity do not deny the fact.
Secondly, Did they kill Jesus? Yes even atheists scholars agree that Jesus was killed.
But however, the bone of contention was his resurrection, the jews claim Jesus body was stolen to make it appear as if he really resurrected but however, the body could not have being stolen by Jesus disciples because his body was well guarded by the authorities.

The early Christians could not have passed through horric persecution rejection and death just to protect a lie, for what benefit?

People do something for one benefit or the order, for what benefit would the christians lie,? On the other hand the price they paid was so high that it defies all reasoning unless perhaps Jesus indeed was raised.
Christianity is not about worldly power, position, money or any other benefit, for what benefit?
Unless on that christ really rose hence their willingliness to die for the truth.

point is light is superior and that's why men do lightings after building their houses because they can't afford to stay in darkness. Most cities in civilized countries worldwide are lighted up 24/7 and you can hardly tell when the night creeps up. You can never snuff out light by any amount of darkness but darkness gets snuffed out with just the emanation of light no matter the size.

We all need light and not darkness...

I thought you were doubting.

Sure credit goes to you, but more importantly all to God.

I have been reminded that Jesus died at either 30AD or 33AD, i was already aware of these things. But only the spirit of Christ can help me understand and gain confidence.

And i was also reminded that it would be the 6000 years after creation, which means the millennial reign of Christ is near, the reign of Christ would be for one thousand years, so it corresponds to the seven days of creation. Thus we can enter rest on the seventh day.

So it means the seven years of great tribulation is near, i think this is what you mean.

But also the rapture is near.
