PROUDIGBO:

You're so spot on! Peter Obi did his best for Anambra state, and if anyone knows the dire socio-economic and security situation he met on ground....not to mention the distraction he was getting from greedy godfathers whose firm grip on the states finances and politics he was trying to prise off, then one would begin to appreciate better just how much he did for the state! If a Peter Obi had governed states like Rivers, Lagos, Akwa-Ibom or Delta in the last 8 to 16 years, those states would be much better developed and governed today!
Peter obi actually did the dirty job of fighting the godfathers n their clutch on Anambra state. He laid the foundation for a great Anambra and that is why it’s been so easy for his successors to do well…
As it stands now any governor of Anambra state that doesn’t deliver should be given the guillotine treatment…..
All thanks to HE Peter Obi….

What rubbish!

Come to SS and see lots of yorubas. Even in my village, many yorubas are now there selling agbo.

I don't stay anywhere near SW and I can't live there. Outside my region, the only place I will consider living in is Abuja.
selling agbo you mean hahaha
Plain lie from an ipob dunce.
Before you see 100 Yorubas in the whole akwa, you would have seen 3m ibos in a village in SW

SW is indeed a backward region. It's just Lagos that is covering the rot in that region. What they call airports in that region are worse than say some bus station. Even airports in the most remote parts of North are far far better! Look at what they built in Ekiti as airport in 2023, this rubbish won't even be acceptable in South Sudan or Congo but these people think it's okay.

The buses they ride on in their cities, be it ibadan, Abeokuta etc are always small and rickety. Their houses too, normal average people won't want to live there. They're the odd ones in South

ern Nigeria.

Omo, you can't buy class, if you have it, you have it. If you don't have it, you don't have it.

An average person from Ibo land celebrates mediocrity. That is why South East is the most backward since the days of Azikiwe

What our leaders in south west execute are projects that benefit the masses., not airport that add little or no value to the lives of our indigenes.
Awolowo was far ahead of Azikiwe in intellect and resources management.

Ebonyi State is one state with sooooo little and their governor keeps delivering mind-blowing infrastructural projects. Give Dave Umahi the kind of money Lagos or Rivers has, he will turn his state to Dubai.

In fact, other state governors in Nigeria should be taking lectures from him about how he achieved all this with so little.

Someone should create a thread of what Dave Umahi did in 8 years so as to blow people's minds here. When it comes to infrastructure, that man is only in competition with himself.

You are someone too. You can create the thread.

Airports are locally owned and operated in most countries. Most of the major airports in the world today belong to private investors, not the state or the federal government.

We are talking about airports like LHR, FRA, AMS, and JNB of South Africa.

The few ones that are owned by state or local government are being managed by their department of aviation or private entities - ATL, PHL, JFK

Most of them are just ignorance, let compare the revenue allocation and debt, if Obi had place Anambra in serious debt and didn't save money for the state it would have been difficult for Obiano to build those massive projects without borrowing, Obi built many projects without borrowing, still clear all backlogs salaries, pensions, gratuities wasn't owing anybody before his tenure ended.

We are not interested in Anambra .
Only Ibos live there.
We are interested in cosmopolitan states that inhabit all Nigerians.

Please any time you're arguing with any anti Obi, let them know that Obi already had successive plan for the state. Obi acquired the land for the airport, and compensated the owners of the land. Obiano came in and He used the money Obi left behind to build the airport.

Ogun state is just living off Lagos state and nothing more!

Look at how disgusting agbara and ota is, with terrible roads and filth everywhere. Ironically, that's the only area that generate money for Ogun state yet it's in such deplorable condition.

So ur thinning brain don’t know sango, sagamu, Abeokuta, Ijebu Ode etc also generate money for Ogun.

Have you been to the MMA2 Airport? We just type anyhow. That MMA2 rivals some of the best airports in the World, and it is not even a MAGA airport in the heart of Lagos. Lagos does not have the land mass to do more than what it is already doing. Leave LAGOS alone my people...it is generating over 60% of all states IGR lol and more than 85% of all new investments come into the Lagos you all hate.
