Shoe the proof of this
You think the owner will just erect a building in Lagos without any approval?Lagos state land agencies walk around Lagos state on a daily basis. If a building is under construction without approval, the officials will mark the building with a red paint and stop further construction.Dont tell me what I know.

Originalsly:

If the owner did get approval.... he most likely knew he got it via the back door. If the approval is in the State records is another story. My problem is the State takes too long to move on these matters. The uikdings should've been knocked down wayyy before they were finished .... the owners fined for trespassing .... and if approval was given ... the officials charged for corruption.
Is it only one official that monitor ongoing construction? They are rotated. There is nothing like back door. The Lagos state government knew about it.Theat is their modus operandi. They sell land and come back to grab it back.dont be surprised that tinubu will build a hotel there.

Kudos, things must be done properly.
Sympathy to those who lost their properties. May Almighty provide for them to build in proper places.

There is one illegal filling station they just built inside that same Ajao Estate not too far from Chivita Avenue . It’s in a very sharp corner and a place not fit for filling station site .

I hope they demolish that one too .

The hatred they have for igbos is amazing, yet they are scared to let them leave.

Imagine people who after the war still have the highest education scores.

That man is a thug running lagos like a cartel for the Drug Lord

Se na by force for you to develop other people's land. Make u carry your money to the Ikpeazus and the Orjis or that statue lover. I begii Lagos is oversaturated with boys that come here with little or nothing and begin to call everyone names after being able to afford to pay for a room in a village at Ikorodu or Ojoo.

Hmmm, for every action, there is equal and opposite reaction ! The owners of Lagos are not smiling again, they are sending some very powerful messages to some tactless people who always like to run their mouths anyhow.

Most Nigerians that their structures are being demolished deserve it.

Here in my area, u will see people building houses and stores close to nepa transformers and even under powerlines. Many also build block where erosion supposed dey pass. And the most annoying thing is that they all know what they are doing is abnormal but still goes ahead to do it at of greed.

Last last, we all go dey alright

Development control are corrupt, otherwise no one should be allowed to erect any building above DPC if money did not change hands.

SO who approved the plan?
Which plan are u talking about? Na power most of them wey I know for here take dey do their own. Some of them na omonile, why some of them get their approvals from the omoniles them. Once those omoniles done give them go ahead, they don't care if government exists again.

And those government taxforce in charge of the environmental stuff are the ones making things worst. They that are supposed to tell them to stop from the onset, "they will just collect their own share and move on", because they know they are not the ones that will be affected when everything burst out tomorrow.
