Otedola is being overhype by Yoruba media, he is far below many Igbo rich guys

2. Abdul Samad Rabiu .............(NW)
3. Mike Adenuga ......................(SW)
4. Femi Otedola .......................(SW)
5. Tope Awotona ......................(SW)
6. Folorusho Alakija .................(SW)
7. Danjuma Theophilus ...........(NC)
8. Benedict Peters ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,(SS)
9. Jim Ovia .................................(SE)
10. ABC Orjiako .......................(SE)

Followed by the likes of Tony Elumelu, Hakeem Belo-Osagie and Oba Otudeko.

I have always told some yorubas claiming Igbo are more enterprising that IJEBU PEOPLE ARE BETTER BUSNESS MEN AND INDUSTRIALISTS!

Even Ebenezer obey mentioned it...AWON IJEBU,S'AWON LO L'OWO....IJEBU OWNS TRADE!

Most past richest yorubas are from Ogun axis from Abiola to folawiyo to Adenuga to Alakija and they are all richer than the contemporary IGBO rich men of their time!

Igbos are more enterprising!!!

They have a culture of trading, are aggressive in engaging in it and dominate small/import trades.

Yorubas are more corporatising!!!

They have a culture of building professional businesses, quietly doing so and dominate majority of industries in Nigeria.

A classic example is if you look at the corner-shop industry (which Nigerians erroneously call "Supermarket"wink. Igbos dominate ownership of such shops across the country, with the shop-owner quietly sitting in his shop with his apprentices serving customers.

But when you look at Supermarket chains, the professionally-ran ones, Yorubas dominate.

Shoprite Nigeria, Justrite, Price Pointe, Principally and Addide are all owned by Yorubas.

Grand Square is the only professionally-run Supermarket owned by an Igbo.

No mind am.

Because of his "Group Economics" degree from some state poly, he is better at valuation of worth of people than the likes of Bloomberg and Forbes.

Once he sees a person visits London 10 times a year, can buy 400 Pink Moet bottles, has the biggest mansion in his village and has a Rolls-Royce, then he is a multi-billionaire and richer than Elon Musk according to his lectures in "Group Economics".

Chest-beating analysis! "Group Economics" gurus!

Even 100k dollars businesses are listed in London stock exchange, you think it's by shouting Igbo amaka on social media

"Anambra is making the money stay in the state"?

Which money?

What money?

Ogun state (with N121bn) generates more than 3 times the IGR that Anambra generates (with N34bn). As a matter of fact, Ogun state generates more IGR than the entire SE states' IGR all added up together (with N115bn combined).

Even quiet, rural, nonindustrial Ondo State (with N33bn) has the same IGR as Anambra.

So who is collecting "paltry tax" then, Einsteins? Ogun or Anambra, illiterate?

Where is the "mega tax" being paid in Anambra na?

Ogun state (with N24.3bn) generates more than 2 times the PAYE tax that Anambra generates (with N11.2bn).

Ogun state (with N2.8bn) generates more than 4 times the Direct Assessment tax (i.e. tax for self-employed people) that Anambra generates (with N0.7bn).

Unemployment rate in Ogun State is 16.4%. Unemployment rate in Anambra State is 44.2%.

Poverty rate in Ogun State is 9.3%. Poverty rate in Anambra (the best for it in SE) is 14.8%.

But you say na you know "Group Economics"? You dey beat chest say "Na we own 95% of the industries"?

Going around shouting you are developing other people’s lands with empty points and you cannot shut up your mouth when they are talking about their successes and not insulting you, you have to just open your mouth to say you are better, when you clearly are not better or developing anything. People like you are truly cursed! Empty chest-beating professionals!

Who be economic illiterates so? Employing “stay at home” protests and killing your own economy, based on orders by some low-IQ illegal migrant fool to Finland, is what would make a people economic Einsteins? While those making money, and your people are rushing to their lands for survival, are the Economic illiterates in your low IQ minds?

grin grin grin grin grin grin

Illiterate, let me educate you on how to read statistical figures.

Firstly, "Group Economics" graduate, your diagram is of absolute figures, not percentages.

Absolute figures would be affected by population size. I know they did not teach that in your "Group Economics" classes.

FACT 1: There are more people living in SW than SE.

FACT 2: There are more people who are non-Yorubas living in SW than non-Igbos living in SE.

FACT 3: Majority of poor people would be the hustlers who came for green pastures, to hustle, have not yet found their feet and probably lack a support network.

So, if you had been well-educated when studying "Group Economics" at your state poly, you would have had the brains to know that a more populated region, where there are lots of migrants coming to hustle in foreign lands, would have higher volumes of poor people than places where people are living in their home surroundings; and the non-indigenes would form majority of this poor group.

Who are the poor selling gala in Lagos traffic? What states are they from?

All that said, it does not show how Anambra is keeping money at home, according to your "Group Economics", because "95% of the industries is locally owned".

Anambra is a poorer state than virtually all the states in the SW. Even Edo state is more economically viable.

Limited economic prospects has pushed many young Igbos out of SE to find greener pastures in other parts of Nigeria and even other third world countries like Gabon. No one goes to SE from other tribes to look for greener pastures.
