Do you know how many private citizens (individuals) who had gotten licences to build private refineries in Nigeria before Dangote applied for licence? I'm sure that you were not aware of this information! None of these rich businessmen ever made attempt to start construction after getting the licences.
But now, all what you see is monopoly. I'm sure that you would prefer that we don't have a single functioning refinery privately owned if it was going to belong to Dangote.
