Breaking news; The US has just announced its plan to start screening people coming into the US from Ebola incident countries for body temperature. They target key West African countries including Liberia, Sierra Leone & Guinea. http://edition.cnn.com |
Where did the star fall to? In the context of extraterrestrial bodies, where is up & where is down? Gravity pins us to the earth's surface & impairs our judgement of spatial positioning as well as orientation. The ISS just above the earth & beyond the active earth's gravitational field would be a unique place to understand that there is no up or down out there. Up or down only happens when you bias the judgement by the influence of a localized gravitational pull. Also, if a star where to fall to the earth, lets say that is plausible, we would be history! |
You missed the point. Its not about countries that had someone testing positive but rather about a transmission occurring within a country. |
(CNN) -- A nurse's assistant in Spain is the first person known to have contracted Ebola outside of Africa in the current outbreak. Spanish Health Minister Ana Mato announced Monday that a test confirmed the assistant has the virus. She had helped treat a Spanish missionary who contracted Ebola in West Africa. The missionary died after returning to Spain. The news came amid growing fears in the United States that the disease could spread. http://edition.cnn.com/2014/10/06/health/ebola-us/index.html?hpt=hp_t1 |
So, should USA be considered an Ebola infested country for now as well? There would then be a 42 day wait period to take them off that list. |
Give more details to help in the search. City where he lived, where his family worshiped, where he was last seen, etc I pray he is found very soon. God be with him and his home. |
Emirates picks from across the globe and has a decent balance of pretty faces. Air France number 1? What a joke! |
Stop rehashing these links with Nigeria. Nigeria is currently Ebola free regardless of the western media's position. Thanks. |
We need truth to set us free. |

Who confirmed their deaths in villages without doctors? |
50m Naira for 800SQM in Nicon.......I am skeptical. |
Is this related to the collapse? Just asking ![]() |
How come we heard nothing about the suspect? Trust the Nigeria security forces to make a minced meat out of such suspect if he existed. These US fear campaign agents will stop at nothing! |
ayodeji752: Dis man should spend d rest of his life in prison and d dead doctor deserved to die cos i read dat he knew d sick patient had ebola before secretly treatin him becos of money. Igbos and money shaDon't get tribalistic. The greedy Igbo doctor is as culpable as the cowardly Yoruba diplomat! |
Even with all the question leakages. The northern states need to sit up. Well, maybe Boko Haram would be happy with their poor performance. |
You said the content of my mind in a perfect way. "Men of God" buying private jets while church members languish in penury. Why should you walk to church in the rain and back in a congested bus while your "General Overseer" has 5 exotic cars parked in his home, owns houses in Europe and US and flies first class or owns a private jet? If love is really the foundation and Christ sowed his life for us, then, church members and the community should be helped actively from the purse of the church. But who are we to say these things? Some believer would soon come along to explain why we are "not true Christians" if we ask these meaningful questions. |
wow |
Hmmm. US will know. |
We need a waft of good news. Too much ill news out there. Stay safe & stay far. Safety first, Nairaland pictures later. |
Easy to say from your Eiffel Tower. |
As usual, more focus on politics at the expense of the people. |
An unprepared mind will always blame circumstances. We as a nation Mr. president are just too laid back and unprepared. You don't know our population to the nearest 10k people. Our immigration team cannot say for sure who enters and leaves by sea or land. until today, we are still speculating about the kidnapped girls and each time we claim to chase Boko boys into hiding, the sack another village. Our MMA airport is one of the worst I have been to the 20 countries I have Visited including 6 in Africa. Stop talking and lead us from a stagnant nation to a proactive, progressive one. We need to wake up and take our place on this African plate. That's of cause when you guys at the top stop fighting over loots and really focus on the future of this nation. |
Too little too late. We are the ones to be avoided now. Ivory Coast and Ghana have somehow stayed safe even when they are closer to the hot zone. We need to do more much earlier as a Nation to get ahead. Maybe this is what wakes us up. Maybe..... |
It will be part of 2015, don't worry. ![]() |
NATIVE pot calling the kettle black. "With his bulging eyes" |
We know most of your points are true. However, can you explain why the US flew 2 patients in a retrofitted air ambulance one at a time into a specially contained negative pressure zone in a hospital where staff attend to them using the best protective kits available. All these after the first dosage of the in-test serum. On the other hand, our Nigerian goons called leaders allowed first level contact people with Sawyer go home while they took their contacts and only went to Surulere to zap one out of her house when she started showing symptoms. We have not even started understanding the possible ramifications of this Virus. So while we urge calm, we should allow some valid sense of urgency and open expression of apprehension. Let's be frank, we are not ready for this stuff. |
https://www.nairaland.com/1845351/re-suspected-ebola-victim-surulere http://edition.cnn.com/2014/08/06/health/africa-ebola-outbreak/index.html?hpt=hp_t3 https://www.nairaland.com/1844739/breaking-six-more-health-workers The government did not quarantine them. they just took contacts and allowed them back to into the society. A country led by dumb asses. Read about the Ebola Zaire, then you would know what we are joking with. Check out Richard Preston's non fiction book "The Hot Zone" published in 1994. |
Yes! Why we fear them and not for what they should stand for. |
"For now, we are only boosting their immune systems by giving them healthy foods" Ridiculously ludicrous!!! |
Time to call in ill. This Ebola V thingy is stubborn. |
