No Nothern leader would have the credibility to stand for an election come 2015 since they are all wedged between professing their ideology and support for the Islamic sect and standing as acceptable to the rest of Nigeria! Come o think of it......this is one of Jonathan's best decisions and moves ever. Allow the shit hit the fan and lets see whose arse is gored. Either he defeats Boko Haram or he succeeds in helping Nigerians know the true nature of these "born to rule extremists" worst case, the country breaks up and we would not be the first and we would see who loses. US needs a base in the Sahara........they will get it soon. |
It's their turn to chop......don't expect improvements. |
As long as its Nigerian, no! |
Tuface face camera, Uduaghan is facing Tuface. Orhue! |
IMO, no.......the best answer will eventually be a separation and the realignment of the south's relationship to US. It will all happen from 2015. All set in motion for dis-amalgamation and quite frankly, that will give way for a better focus of forces on whatever is left if these rebellious northern extremists! |
When the US puts substantial resources in place to contain these vampires, they are easily called names. Glad the US is now set to become a net petroleum exporter. Guess things are a bit clearer to us all now.....GEJ time to ask for drones! This isn't a battle for foot soldiers. That's if you can convince the Whitehouse you deserve it. |
Nigeria is on track for de-amalgamation. |
Who paid ths guy for all this shit talk of safety? Either he has a warped understanding of what a safe society is and most probably hasn't travelled much or is getting some favour off the top! Safe........and people are getting robbed, killed, kidnaped and harassed daily. You must have another Nigeria you are referring to! |
You still have the presence of mind to point political fingers. Be it PDP or AC or non partisan office holders, we need to fix Nigeria. It's just a shame what Nigeria has turned into. |
Nigerians fool themselves a lot with the art of religion rather than embracing the act. |
Very soon they will discover why we don't need pants. |
ypzilanti: Several kidnapped people have been returned unharmed. In fact it is a minority that unfortunately get murdered. Your statement is uncalled for. You are just being mean and unfeeling hiding under the cloak of realism. If it was your family member would you post such on the net? Hope she comes back safe. Many thanks for your concern. God bless you. |

aasog1: [b]NO to SHARES in Nigerian and the UK! I have tried both, a complete waste of money and time.I completely agree! |
Is anyone surprised? |
ilugunboy: You are a bad pikin...Tortori moves mennn! |
Its a great virtue to know how to say thanks. You may not know how many job hunters your story just gave some air. |
Its one thing to know these yet its another to know how to be truly contented. Above all in life, learn to be as happy as you can. |
Yes, very true. However, most of my eureka moments came while I was under the shower. |
Well, maybe we the employed should also check to see if we are qualified to be working after so long! And Nigeria would leave this as a burden to these students. This reminds me of how my SSCE was cancelled. An ugly looking lady came from WAEC Benin during the exams & said the Physics practical tables where not as far apart as she would like and went on to cancel the entire school results in all subjects. Talk of throwing away the baby & the bath water.Glad I was pretty young then & already had all my papers in SS2 courtesy of my mom pushing me to prepare for WAEC from SS1. A nation where people who are themselves convinced they are stupid can be in power. |
Thanks a lot OP. Just to add a few points. 1 It is crucial to differentiate between Needs and Wants; failure in this would usually, inevitably lead to financial failures. 2 Keep some gap between you, your wants and family from money you save for Needs. Open an investment-saving account. 3 After you chose a prudent spouse, run the home with some basic finance platform; work with budgets. If you fail, you would at least know how & when. 4 See relatives and friends as people who compliment life; do not compete for trendiness or fame. Every finger with its relative length. 5 Have a viable project and allocate cash before you have it. Above all, remember you and your immediate family is a major responsibility for you. It's up to you to guaranty their financial security with part of the gifts from God. |
Can a bank really incentivize patronage by offering such promos? If you pick a bank with a fairly poor customer service and minimal or poor Internet banking support, promos can creat a buzz but would not significantly affect their year end reports. Promos may appeal to the emotions of the average man but a real buoyant investor would count on more to move bank funds. |
Hmmm! A forensic team that could not handle the accident scene properly, attempts to convince us the bat hit her before the bullets! Please how did they sequence the events? Did the bat kill her 1st before she was shot? And if so, how did she end up in a "locked bathroom"? Or was she hit and in a bid to survive made her way to the bathroom & shut it? And would that be why he shot? These cold aass forensic team make-ups need to sit up and stop playing with public emotions! And did they chose the best time to say this!!! Head bashing and 4 shots CANNOT happen to a suspected criminal who you couldn't see. neither would it happen to a relative in error. Stop fooling yourselves. |
The ink used is function of output properties and not document source. I use a very high quality HP multifunction printer/copier/scanner. I mistakingly submitted my original document to British embassy and kept the copy. I discovered later after I noticed the paper was just too neat compared to others. Don't allow biz centers fool you. |

midetinz: I bought my first car at 32, a Honda Oddysey which cost 1m. 1 paid cash and i`m so much enjoying it. fortunately i have an official car so the pressure on my ride aint much.i`m contemplating giving it to my wife as soon as she can drive.Register her in a good driving school and give her the car soon. You could also teach her if you have the time. I taught my wife and she is excellent in driving. All good wives need empowerment and as small as this may seem, it's a key step. |
Gosh! I just wept. May her soul rest in peace and I pray her bereaved fiancé finds peace. Gosh! The tears still flow. |
Posting like this just make Nairaland special. Your trip took me down memory lane. I plan to visit by end of year. Many thanks to poster and nairaland. |
It would be nice to integrate life expectancy into this. I am quite certain that index has a fair correlation with quality of life. If you do, this list would adjust to some reasonable extent and come out more accurate. Niger republic and North Korea should be on the list, possibly in place of Kenya as well as Nigeria if its long enough. |
Some of you who post here disregard the fact that his Wife & other relatives as well as his work colleagues could be reading all these. I hope you get home buddy, you wife & baby MUST miss you. All the very best as we home you make it home soon. |
