hello everyone inwangobio i shed tears when i read the good news,i was in the toilet with my lap top and when i saw it especially that song he's able,i was shedding tears,i had to be quiet so my hubby won't hear me.
When i joined Nairaland i was not sure i was going to be a regular poster but now i know more than ever i need some suport through this journey.Am in my 2ww too,cycled with Emeka,i feel comfortable with him,did i have a bed rest during the 2ww,not seriously cos it was so tough lying down for that long so for the first few days i was lying down but after three days i started moving around a little though lying down in the living room most of the time,my PT is on saturday,i've been positive,had doubts,had faith,and sometimes felt defeated.
I had cramps up to 10 days post ET but the cramps are almost unoticeable now which discouraged me a bit, cos i hear most times cramps are a good sign,i feel like my periods are coming ,i've been feeling that way since like 6 days now but the thing never show.i don't want to test before sat on my own cos am afraid but am still hopeful,initially i had sore boobs and some breast pain especially when i wake up first thing in the morning but that has since stopped,except for some spasm or fluttering i feel on my belly,i remember i used to feel that way when i first conceived in 2009,though i lost it at 18weeks and i've been trying since,am hopeful and trusting God that this time sat it will be celebration galore in my household.Whatever happens i will share the news here.
At double blessing your testimony moved me to challenge God with his word,that scripture is powerful,pls let's not all forget that everything begins and ends with God,he has all the answers.Love you all

@ Godiya always, thanks alot, i always feel happy knowing that i have people like you praying and wishing us well. My wife is fine n she has been throwing up lately n not being able to eat well. She takes a lot of fruits n bisciuts, na wa even the sweet 'atama soup' she prepared on Sunday she has not been eating, am now in charge lol. it is well.@ Tanidab it is well wit u, discard any feeling of cramp or no cramp n see ur bfp result come Saturday 9/3/13, nothing else should matter to u.

Alternatively, u can complain and the doctor can instruct a nurse to help. GL

Hi everyone, Av been so nervous to post dis since on Wednesday when I went for the transfer cos I don't want to sound negative after the transfer cos I stil believe in God, only one of my embryo out of nine lasted till day four so I had a day 4 transfer unlike the usual day five that truecare does,even d doctor was not happy. Av been aving a lil bit of something like contraction since then. But am remaining positive cos if got cab bring life out of dry bone den mine na small thing.good luck to all on dis journey especially the 2ww.

@tontolo I've read on foreign post of people getting preggo with just one embie with even a 2day xfer,blasts are good but ders no guarantee embies can get to day 5 which is why some pple opt for a 2 or 3 day xfer,but don't lose hope I think with ivf when it wants to stick it wiLl stick,it's not over until u WIN,tell God to do the impossible with ur xfer u will be shocked dat it can even spill to 2.My 2WW ends tomm but I don tell Emeka am comong to test today

@ Gimnaeto,usually when d doc sees an anomaly in ur womb thru a vaginal scan,he may ask u to do an hysteroscopy,an hysteroscopy is to check inside ur womb,to know if ders anything that cld be der hindering the implantation of d embies,its aa routine done in most fertility clinics in SA,so I think u shld do it just to be sure all is well ,keep fighting u will laugh last,I was told severally to do it but I was sure it was not neccessary cos I had already done 3 HSGs to check my womb structure and I was once preggo but lost it at 18wks,keep the faith,u will get loads of support here

Bfps to all the ladies who are on 2wks wait and those about to test. Praying for everyone of us. Was also advised to do hysterscopy . Most people who did it got pregnant, it helps the doctor remove any foreign body in the uterus and also prepare it for implantation for the beautiful embeds.

@Tontolo, it is well o! Keep the faith, God who started this journey with u will be faithful to complete it with success. Am trying to understand why ur clinic waited till you have just one embie left to do the transfer. Were u the one who insisted on day 5 transfer? Am kind of confused here because any experienced Dr would have done a day 2 or day 3 transfer for u when they realize the embies weren't doing so well cos the womb is actually the best incubator for them. Did they show u the grade of the one they finally transferred? Am not trying to scare u because one embry can actually implant if every other parameter is ok. I just feel ur Dr didn't do well at all cos 9 fertilized embies is quite a number that u could have even had some frozen if managed properly.

Now, I have been married since 2010, we have male factor issue, hubby has decided we go for ivf/icsi. I have prayed so much and fasted, each time I see myself being helped by doctor in dreams to get preggy, even when I was seeking God's face for our decision, I just remember my dreams of doctors helping me to conceive/give birth.I don't want my hubby to be using drugs anyhow as am aware those drugs have its side effects. His life mean so much to me I beg.

Now, pls, I need best advise for the clinic I should use. I have started eating fruits more now, taking bitters to give my body a very good environment. I want clinic where we won't spend up to 1million but with good result. We have like 700k for it.

Pls beloveth I still need your advice as I've never had the IVF experience.I was preparing to go in for my first atempt when dey discovered fibriod and I was asked to have it removed first which I just did by open surgery (myomectomy).initially I was told to wait 3months b4 starting the IVF but now I'm hearing that if I try after 3months that I may likely miscarry bc the womb will not be strong enof that I should wait for six months.pls has any1 had this xperience b4, how long will it take the womb to heal well and is there any special drug I can take to enhance and fasten the internal healing? Ok people so I did the test y'day and it was bfn,am surprised at the way am taking it,hubby is not even allowing me to dwell on it,though Emeka wants me to test again on Monday since I still have not seen AF but my mind don comot,so right now I just want to pray for direction and spend time in the word of God,I did get preggo once naturally but lost it at 18weeks,I did 100K contribution for 7mths last year to raise money for dis ivf o nd hubby gave me 400k,I had to pay extra for epidural for d ET cos d last time I was put to sleep I had a cardiac arrest,but am not dwelling on all dat now,I think I shld plan a vacation for easter o,make I go pamper myself for a change jare how are u all doing?God cannot lie

@ arisolama I do not know much abt fibroid but I've heard that when you take it out u shld try and get preggo within six months I do not believe u shld wait for more than 3mths cos a family friend of mine removed a myomar from her womb and started ivf 6 weeks later,the baby is 2yrs old now but I think you shld ask an IVF specialist to be double sure
