it's better you do the damn NYSC once and for all, the stress of skipping it is just not worth it because you won't know the time when that certificate will be necessary. I'm not saying it's the key to your success, I'm saying just do it because the discomfort it'll cause isn't funny at all

Honestly, you have no excuse for not undergoing NYSC if you graduated before 30 years unless you already have a solid back up that will damn the need for NYSC certificate should the need for it arises

What will make you not to go for your NYSC, if you're still within the age limit? Without your NYSC certificate you're not a graduate. So if you're not going for NYSC collect exemption letter it's the same as NYSC certificate but you will not be given if you're below thirty years as at when your school result came out.

Write a letter of exemption to jamb and nysc and you won't be tormented within that period of 1 months although it's fun but if you have something good doing then you should request to be exempted from the scheme.

Life is all about grace, I have worked in one or two organizations acquired a couple of things and about to build now, no nysc certificate requested. That doesn't mean one shouldn't go for the programme. That's how my life is being tailored. Sufficient grace!

advice him to do it.
If he find himself in some Ministry he will not be disturb. At times he will come to work twice in a week.

Her own was worse because she was poorly advised. She was over 30 and did not need a certificate. I am sure when she came into naija someone just packaged the docs for her.

Go and ask one of Buharis minister who has to step down because of fake nysc certificate.

People have been dismissed from organisations, both public and private for not doing NYSC and forging their certificates, just like the case of Kemi, former Minister of Finance.

Better open your own business if you don't care about NYSC. Any attempt to avoid it can have terrible consequences in future.

Nysc is a waste of time..many of them become poorer during that one year especially ppl without a business...skill or from a rich background. Would you really say davido did nysc..I don't think so..guess he just showed up for orientation not even sure if he stayed the full 3weeks..after that I don't think he did anything more just showed up to collect certificate....na poor ppl dey suffer for nysc.

Not having NYSC certificate is not a very good indication

Why should a recruiter pick someone who didn't do NYSC when there are loads of people probably more qualified with NYSC.

I did part-time at the university and got an exemption letter. Am working in the civil service. So not going for youth service will not prevent you from getting a job.
