Loan scam is easy to see... Once u see over bloated value it's a loan scam

Funny thing is most Nigerians have no idea about it
In this case, $50m for a 30MW plant is not over bloated... I'd be even surprised if along the line there won't be some variation that would need another $10m top up.

Modified... that's for gas turbine I meant. If it's for reciprocating engine gas plants, then, yes the budget is over bloated.

It makes no sense for power generation plants to be far away and gencos now need to spend billions to ship it to Lagos then transfer the cost to consumers when you can have the generation plants near to the discos and consumers without such costs.
Expect more of this huge investment in all the value chains and consumers can now have multiple options of service providers like GSM. The Gencos are up for serious competition and maybe outcompeted.

Transmission Company of Nigeria ( TCN) may be the biggest loser.

In all, once again, this is the best time to invest in Yorubaland.
God bless Nigeria for ever!

You never disappoint walahi. always making point that are off in trajectory all because of selfish tribalistic agenda.

Burner, compressor or turbine or the amateur?

Lmao turbine is just opposite of a fan... I studied mechanical engineering

There is nothing in gas turbine that can't be made in Aba... We no just serious for this country

There is no how this project would be more than 20 million dollars

U can even buy 30mw turn on a truck

That was how we calmed down for Buhari to build rail to Niger. Today we are suffering subsidy removal just to repay senseless loans.

That plant is expensive at $50m. 40% ofghat should handle it.

Oga you are the one trying to force propaganda. The project is clearly overbloated in terms of cost. $50M for 30MW power plant!!! this is just another scheme to steal money. Seen this before and this scenario is so similar, we will be here by this time next year and you will see that this project will have not taken off at all. Eko distribution that is yet to solve the many issues bedevelling distribution of power is now dabbling into power generation. this is clear misplaced priorities at it's best.
when you guys are ready to be serious and stop spreading lies and propaganda we will know.
