This is really heartbreaking. Please who can enlighten me POF required for a family of 3? That is, the Principal applicant accompanied with the spouse and 1 baby. Your inputs are highly appreciated. Thanks a lot. JMG12: |

ruthpal: Think of your UCI - unique Client Identifier as your id number with IRCC. It is unique to only you. Typically each applicant should have only one and this should be used in every application you send to IRCC. Ultimately, your UCI becomes your Permanent Resident card ID number. Hope this helps. 1 Like |

Hi guys, I feel so helpless right now. I applied for Study Visa using an agent. I did my biometrics March 17, 2023 and till this very moment I do not know the status of my application. Agent said application is under processing, meanwhile I requested for IRCC login credentials which he refused to give me, so I gave him instructions to login and send me the screenshot of the dashboard and he said there was an upgrade on the portal that he could not login, immediately I called 2 of of my friends to login into their portal to verify his statement. They both provided me with the screenshots of their dashboard. Now agent is saying that he’s going to provide screenshots in 4 days time. Something did not add up and leaves me wondering the type of application he did maybe he applied via mail, obviously not online application. I have the UCI number; I don’t know if it is possible for me to check the status of my application using the UCI number and if it is possible for me to create a different portal and start afresh? Modified: The past few days has been exhausting for me. For the record, let it be known that the agent with the following numbers: +234 705 596 3305, +44 7909 058556 Segun Bello, submitted a fictitious acceptance letter (confirmed by the admission department) and some other documentation that may implicate me without my consent to Canadian Immigration. Let it be known to the members of the public that Segun Bello, with the above-mentioned numbers, is not a genuine travel agent, and I am putting this up to warn anyone who may want to transact with him to be very careful. |

Hi everyone Please, I'm applying from UK and I already had my tuition fee sorted for September 2024 and also having £6980 as living expenses which falls around 11kcad+. Is it safe to apply with this POF for living expenses before the new POF starts Jan 1 2024? |

I thought IRCC calculates POF using official rates? Why then am I seeing people posting the equivalent of the new $20,635cad as N23million plus? |

What exactly is wrong with this useless VFS? Why have they seized my passport for the past two weeks for God’s sake? This is becoming really annoying. Anyone else waiting for their passport from vfs? |

How much is the total proof of funds needed now ? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by BeatThaMeat: 7:59am On Dec 08, 2023 |
Now that the POF has been increased So let’s say first year school fees is $17214 Plus living expenses $20,638 we times that by black market rate which is N868 to $1 which gives us N32,855,536 How much should be left in our bank account after this is cleared ? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Temi475: 8:05am On Dec 08, 2023 |
For graduate certificate program, what do you select as level of study of form imm1294e. There are no options for graduate certificate there, just college certificate, college diploma , college applied degree and university?? |

BeatThaMeat: Does IRCC calculate POF using black market rate? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Glock22: 8:38am On Dec 08, 2023 |
Feignlies: It says For 2024, a single applicant will need to show they have $20,635 in addition to their first year of tuition and travel costs. It does not say payment. You only have to show it, just as it has always been. |
