Ofunaofu: It's simple logic. It's like if you used to transport yourself to work monthly for 50k and you got a place trekking distance from work. You've saved 50k that should have been transportation to work. Or you used to spend 1million in 6months on accommodation, but you are currently staying free in a place courtesy of a friend. You've saved that 1 million that you usually sourced for accommodation. Now that Nigeria does not have to pay for subsidy, that debt is no more accumulating. Also, the gains made can be rechanneled to other things like health, education and infrastructure. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Over N1 Trillion Saved Since Subsidy Removal, Says Tinubu by jumper524(m): 9:30am On Aug 01, 2023 |
When Tinubu says we've saved 1trillion, Nigerians would open their calculators and start giving opinion on what to to with the funds. 1trilliion for a population of over 200million is 5k each which we call nothing. This is the reason why Tinubu led FG is looking for avenues to generate income more than the masses demanding it to be spent so we can cover vast range of economic problems. |

My guy Tinubu. We don't want family intervention programmes. Repair our refineries with the money. Provide stable electricity. But refineries first. We don't want family intervention programs. What am going thru alone, its only God that can save me 1 Like |
