Saved

But where is the money?

It's simple logic. It's like if you used to transport yourself to work monthly for 50k and you got a place trekking distance from work. You've saved 50k that should have been transportation to work.
Or you used to spend 1million in 6months on accommodation, but you are currently staying free in a place courtesy of a friend. You've saved that 1 million that you usually sourced for accommodation. Now that Nigeria does not have to pay for subsidy, that debt is no more accumulating. Also, the gains made can be rechanneled to other things like health, education and infrastructure.

Use the savings to refurbish our moribund refineries or build modular refineries in each state. Establish many compressed natural gas stations or other alternative fuels across states, cities and towns. Encourage solar powered electricity supply to support stability of normal conventional electricity supply across the country for at least 12 hours daily during day time eg 6am to 6pm.
Why is the President not even talking of solving the root problem of subsidy which is building refineries? I guess all these gimmicks is to prepare ground for the private refinery in Lagos to monopolise refining and sales of petroleum products so as to recoup the huge money they invested.

I think shying away from solving root causes of the problem is delibrate.

Not much that is N5000 per Nigerian, N1 Trillion divided by 200 million Nigerians. We need to watch the growth of our population. Yet people are still giving birth to 3 children and above

Don't let your literacy go to waste, you can read the president's address of yesterday. If you think that is all consumption, shame on your education and your teachers.

If you believe a single statement that comes out from apc government then I have a bridge to sell to you.

The only thing they are very good at is to heap up lies upon lies.

Perhaps they're thinking through thier anus, giving birth to so many children, infact they're the cause of why poverty prevails.

Can you please indicate the benefit of the savings on poor Nigerian
Re: Over N1 Trillion Saved Since Subsidy Removal, Says Tinubu by jumper524(m): 9:30am On Aug 01, 2023
When Tinubu says we've saved 1trillion, Nigerians would open their calculators and start giving opinion on what to to with the funds.
1trilliion for a population of over 200million is 5k each which we call nothing.
This is the reason why Tinubu led FG is looking for avenues to generate income more than the masses demanding it to be spent so we can cover vast range of economic problems.

How much and how long does it take to build refineries? Have you not noticed that refineries can't work in Nigeria because of subsidy?

My guy Tinubu.
We don't want family intervention programmes.

Repair our refineries with the money. Provide stable electricity.

But refineries first.

We don't want family intervention programs.
