We are already enjoying far improved and stable electricity here in Lagos! This is the best time to invest in Nigeria.

Invest in Lagos and other neighbouring Yoruba SW states today and our land will bless you and your investment for as long as you don't involve in our local politics and don't hate your Yoruba host. God bless Nigeria for ever!Check my signature for free stuffs!

True electricity supply in Ologolo area of Lekki in the last 3 months had been very good.

Something that a WHOLE Fashola could not do, is it now him that would do it? At least Fashola even knew what the real issue was. This one doesn't even know the problem to power in Nigeria. Another failure loading.

You only ranted above. Are you aware states now have the power to generate their own electricity?

His "rant" was based on the minister's statement and nothing else. The minister focused only on increased power generation from Zungeru and nothing else.

They know what to do but they don't want to lose out of it. They should unbundle the power sector like they did to telecommunications and see how it will experience a turn around but they don't want to do that yet.

See the current Discos, they are not even making money sef because of so many unmetered customers and for some of us that pay sef we don't even have the light. We are only paying for darkness

An Adelabu as minister of power won't do shit. We don't need any government intervention any where else, just fix power and we are good to go

What's the difference between the power sector and telecommunications?

You should have read to understand... generation is not the problem.. Nigeria installed capacity for electricity is 12,000MW+ ..but why is it that Nigerians only get about 4000MW.. think

To the Minister of Power:
God bless you Minister of Power-
1- Yes, you can change the lights for better in Nigeria - for us to have 24/7 Lights but must be ready to Fight Heavy Corruption in that Sector!
•Nigerians are really waiting for your resumption because your Ministry drives Nigeria --the Industrialization that must take Place in NIGERIA.
2-Call on all the Stake Holders Meetings to get undate- some of the DISCOS don't exist but by Name!
3-Most Discos don't give Lights and have not improved since they took over 9- yrs ago or so but Debit Nigerians more for Darkness?
4- Why are they still having Estimated Billings, despite the Hs of Reps Law Against this, they still send Bill through Phones?
5- why are we not having Prepaid - they claimed that most of the Prepaid are faulty and only for the highest bidders?
6- Most DISCOS are covering large Areas they don't have Control over!
Why can't we break them down e g:
i- Ikorodu Should have own Disco and A Dam- since they have Waters to run and generate their own
ii- Epe Division - should have her own Dosco- with New Dam to generate Light and Exports to other Regions, since they have both Sea and Ocean Waters!

We need 24 hours uninterrupted power supply and not improved power supply, which does not mean anything to us

I doubt it. But it's fair to those whose ears are only tuned to the channel of propaganda.

Six months time is slap bang in the middle.of the dry season where Nigeria"s hydro dams traditionally do not do well due to the dry season prevalent along the west coast.

It is better to roll out a solid road map based on proper research and planning than make pie in the sky promises that are bound to end up in your face.

Even a kid knows that the power sector requires a deeper framework than it presently operates within and that as a bricks and mortar sector it will take monumental investment over a considerable time period for any impact to be felt at the plugs and sockets.

Anyway, anything for kids to yakk and yap about.
