Which constitution? 25% of Abuja indeed. Next presidential candidates should focus on Abuja and ignore other states. When a group of people decide they can't read basic English and understand but will rather go a for LAUGHABLE interpretation that no court anywhere in the world will agree with, it's called mass hysteria.
You are introducing a red herring into the debate. Abuja indigenes are not demanding presidential candidates should focus on Abuja and ignore other states. What they are demanding is that the person holding the political office of their governor should have at least 25% of their votes, else there should be a run off. That way the governor (in the guise of the appointee of the president) will campaign for their votes and not ignore them in decision making.

That decision of the PEPC if upheld by the supreme court will have serious long term implications for Abuja and thus Nigeria as a whole.

If A northerner fly the flag again, he would fail.

And for the records, Washington DC has a governor.

Google it.

Sounds like propaganda until the case is actually instituted. FCT residents don't have two heads to be hold veto power over other citizens of Nigeria. Their case will be thrown out. All the justices of the appeal and supreme courts are indigenes of certain states and you can take it to the bank that none of them will ever accept the wrong interpretation that voters in their own states are inferior to FCT residents.

Your type would still be lying, even if you find yourself in hell.

Like I said go and read the land use act and the FCT act. You clearly haven’t because if you did and you had any shame or intelligence you will not have responded or responded in the manner you did.

The reason why you buffooons always lose cases in court is you argue from a point of view of sentiment not law.

Contrary to what your contemporaries tell you, research and reading does not kill.

I should be saying the same thing to you. You deliberately twist facts to suit your agenda and resort to tantrums when you are called out on it.

I doubt you have read the land act if not you won't be displaying your ignorance here. Oh well, that's the hallmark of Apc

Yes, it's necessary. Since PEPC claims its like every other state, then they need senators and a governor and local govt and chairmen

It's for the purpose of presidential election since all Nigerians are equal before the Law and Constitution of Nigeria.

Have you seen any democracy in the world where residents of a particular place have overriding voting power over the rest of the citizen?

Not even in USA where we copied presidential system from. Even with the US Electoral College, none has the voting power to nullify or veto the rest of the country.

Let it be tested by the Supreme Court.

Way to go. Since Abuja doesn't have any special status then they should have what other states have. Those injustices have set a bad precedent.

Something that is explicitly written into the Constitution?

Why do people enjoy all these sentimental wastes of time? These things are simple English. Abuja is not a State but should not be treated inferior or superior to States. End of matter. Is that complex?

Heavy fines await these ones and their lawyers.

The US is the poorest example in this case. The state of California has more voting power than Alaska. California has 54 electoral votes while alaska Haa only 3. That means californians have overriding voting power than Alaskans

Abuja is the Federal Capital Territory
Of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the
Administrative Base of Nigerian Government Headed By the President & Commander-in-Chief of Armed forces ...

The FCT is a Special Status Headed By The President himself with Delegation of the Authority to the Minister of FCT(Presently Nyesom Wike) ....

Abuja Indigenes has the Area Council & Their Senators to Represent their Interests....

Once Abuja is giving a state Status, it shall lose the spirit of the Federal Capital Territory then The President & The Governor start Clashing on Jurisdictions Issues ....

Abuja belongs to Nigerians as the entire Nigeria Belongs to Nigeria ....

This is a Dead Case in any Court in Nigeria because Changing Abuja Status Is a Constitutional Issues that would require Constitutional Amendments, 2/3rd Majority & Presidential Assents...

Dead Case.
