Soyinka has gone off the rails. No comments on Tinubu's forged certificate and moribund identity but somehow LP leaders are being used by ex-military generals. I guess, in Soyinka's mind, the fact that things are extremely bad in the country based on the performance of the last president whom Tinubu supported and promoted effusively, are not enough grounds for the anger and frustration which causes people to support LP. First with the fascist statement, even though the APC, have openly shown to be more fascist than any other party in Nigeria. Now this. What was once a sound and creative mind is now no more than a playground for jokes, lies, fallacies and ignorance. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Oma se oh. Soyinka has indeed gone off the rails. 2 Likes |

Most yorubas are bigots anyway education and exposure can't change them only some of them are actually different am not surprised with soyinka response and outburst. How can any sensible person that witnessed what happened during the presidential election still boldly come out to claim apc won that election? Where was soyinka's voice when tinibu's thugs where intimidating and attacking voters in lagos? 3 Likes 1 Share |

ajailer: I wonder when it has become a crime for a region to vote massively for a candidate whom they are fully convinced is credible and just, it's you and your likes that are the real evil personified for always having issues with anyone who is not from your south west region especially the easteners, which is why unfortunate your region has become the capital city of tribalism, a region where little children are taught and natured on how to hate other tribes with ibo's there number one top list to be hated. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Do you mind telling us what part of the electoral act that was violated by INEC? Please don’t mention electronic transfer of results, because that was not in the Acts. It was an operational guideline, and they don’t have to follow it if they realise it’s not going to help them achieve their objectives. When Labour Party won, INEC is good but when they lose, they are compromised. When the judiciary nullifies APC or PDP elections and return LP they are not compromised. Only an idiottt reason like you obi-dients. jaxxy: |

This man is disgrace to his age, his grey hair and his academic achievements, this man that joined idiots to protest against GEJ's attempted removal of subsidy, and later campaign for the colossal failure of the worse president Nigeria ever had, worse than Abacha's government, the man who overthrew the democratic government of Shehu Shagari. he is here again dancing to another confirmed failure, Soyinka should be admitted into a rehab ASAP, don't bother to respond to my comment, my system is programmed not to see replies. you can weep from now till eternity, Soyinka has lost any relevance he has except for the Yoruba race, the world is watching. 1 Like |

SalamRushdie:Nothing is wrong with him. He's been a pretender all along. He's just a normal tribal bigot masquerading as activist. I wonder why he didn't lead save Nigeria group to canvas against subsidy removal this time around. And remember Tinubu's wife bought him saucepans for his house when he came back from exile. So he's repaying the favour done him. 4 Likes 1 Share |

pedel: when labour party wo there was no manipulated results and if there was it was to reduce Lp votes because we have the polling units results which shows otherwise. The Electoral guidelines were clearly stated b4 the elections according to the electoral act and were abandoned without notice for not justifiable or verifiable reasons. Why was only the presidential elections not transmitted knowing the implications and importance? same was done for the governorship this is besides the antidemocratic nuisances of the ruling party supporters and members who threatened the electorates and electoral process. These are all deliberate act and should be treated as so. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Do you honestly believe there were polling units where LP won, and their vote counts were given to other parties? Do you realise votes were publicly counted, and all party agents signed for EC8A? INEC doesn’t have to transmit the results electronically. Operational guidelines can change. The issue you obi followers should focus on is the sum of all your EC8A results. Obi did not categorically say that he won the election, and if you think he won, then replying you is a waste of time. Show proof that Obi scored more than 8 million votes and the places where he secured those votes. Otherwise, stop displaying low intelligence on Nairaland. jaxxy: |

This guy name used to carry weight when I was growing up. Now it's like his old age is affecting his brain. An elder statesman is supposed to be neutral when releasing statement not making utterances that can't be backed with proofs. But he's attacking only LP or Obi. Person wey carry third for election. It feels personal to him. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Akshow: When you say imprisoned, you almost trivialise what actually happened to him. Wole Soyinka was in solitary confinement and chained to the floor throughout the biafra war eating one rubbish meal a day. If he had just been imprisoned, it would have been good. That he didn't run mad during that period is still unbelievable. Not once was he charged to court, a reminder to those that are begging the military to take over. |

pedel: I hope ure joking. I sincerely hope so because this is elementary observations. Look at the level of manipulation of the EC8A. Its obvious to the blind... The agents complained about this both during and after the collation to the inec chairman and others. The EU report was objective and clear about all this. Look at the intentional disruption of the electoral process by apc supporters and members. It's disheartening and sad 2 Likes 1 Share |
