At the end of the day, when you go to a foreign country, find out their rules and regulations

A American business executive took up a job in Japan. She also had chronic back pain, so she took her prescription drugs along. Despite the drug being legal in the USA,it is illegal in Japan. She got arrested for bringing in illegal drugs. And she had a doctor note!

At the end, countries have different rules..and most countries are suspicious of foreigners. Better find out the rules and follow them as much as possible
