The only thing now is having your own car for bolt or Uber, hiring out is not profitable now at all... But transport business actually has no much gain now 116 Likes 14 Shares |

Sad But the truth us that most bolt drivers pocket the proceeds from the business and tell the car owner long long stories every day. If u own ur own car and use it for bolt u will not sell it. 92 Likes 6 Shares |

Not just Uber drivers, shop owners are equally feeling the brunt. It is just a shame that the president didn't plan on ways to reduce the negative impact fuel subsidy will have on the common man before removing it. They(politicians) are all selfish because they are living a comfortable life by taxing (indirect tax) the hell out of Nigerians 63 Likes 1 Share |

E no easy na. How you go buy fuel almost 600 naira/litre only for bolt to collect almost 30 percent commission from small money wey rider pay you to drive am very far distance. Car maintenance go chop him own money, feeding dey there too. Aside that self, even hire purchase plans no dey work again. How I go buy Corolla for almost 4 million then I go come give am out on hire purchase. Shey na 8 million naira the driver go fit pay back? 100 Likes 2 Shares |

The cost of petrol in this #renewedhope era coupled with the Uber commissions alone makes this business hard to break even. Only those with a network of offline clients are those really making bank during this period 60 Likes |

OVIHINNO:So sorry about that. No worry, God dey arrange better one for you. I can't advice anyone to buy a tokumbo Corolla or Camry now and give out on hire purchase to a random driver that does not know how financially painful it is to buy those toks vehicles now. They are very likely to messing up your car for you within 4 months of handing it to them. By the time you might want to sell it, you might end up begging buyers to buy it for half the price you bought it. That's how terrible some drivers are. 28 Likes |

When they were borrowing and squandering money in the past, don't you know the catastrophic effects would come? ...about 5 months is too short to have damaged the country! The hardship wouldn't end now,, We will continue to pay for years. May God airpus-saul.. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

The worse thing is that people wouldn't troop violently on the street to protest because if it happens in Osun or Ogun or Lagos state, one Omoluabi would protest that they want to bring their brother in Aso Rock down. This is what happened for 8 years of Buhari's rule, incompetence and insecurity and yet not even one single state in the North was it mentioned there was an upheaval. Nigeria is one caged unworkable entity and it is only when the hunger is rampant and imminent, unbearable to the Holocaust level that would men troop to the street; irrespective of religious, party or ethnic affiliation to demand a dismantling of this animals at the helm. The suffering is too much and everybody is quiet 72 Likes 4 Shares |
