So what happened to those past presidents and head of states that never boarded a yacht?

All we know is how to copy other countries but we wont ever copy their developmental strategies. Nigerians are dying of hunger and pains but here we are thinking of how to make our ”presidency” so comfortable.

I support Tinubu but can’t support nor defend him on this yacht nonsense. It is very insensitive at this time. Even if Ghana or Togo has it, we don’t have to copy everything. If it had been proposed and initiated by previous governments as I have read somewhere, let him stop it forthwith.

True talk!
Where are they going with this Ship,as President? Is there no Aircraft to do this and where is the Sacrifices by our Leaders here?
This is the same way Nigeria was on FESTAC Festival and Multi-NBILLIONS was wasted!
I believed is a rumour by political opponents, until we hear from the Presidency,it remains so!

Well Yoruba women are protesting in Ogun state abi na osun state over the price of fish ,most of them can not afford it,the money for that yacht can be used to buy fishing vessels and establish a state own fishing company, with that amount it will be the biggest in Africa
Re: What Is A Presidential Yacht? Countries With Presidential Yachts by delpee(f): 11:05am On Nov 02, 2023
We simply don't need this yacht at this point in time. Probably, PBAT can afford to buy one for his personal use. That amount of money will go a long way in the health or education sector. Also few rural roads to make things easier for farmers and rural dwellers.

We are responsible for the kind of leaders we have.

The day we get fed up as citizens, you’ll witness unprecedented revolt against government insensitive spendings and decisions and it will touch every aspect of life in Nigeria, not just government.

Companies that treat their staff like Nigeria government treats her citizens will not be left out.

The citizens are yet to understand democracy. When they do they’ll understand the power they have over government.
