When hike in DSTV price is equal to pains, especially in a world where there is an abundant supply of content, formats and video on demand platforms- it shows that our priorities are very twisted.

They are all shitty,it’s location dependent…moreover following up live events on the internet is not as reliable as cable subscription….it’s not like streaming Facebook and YouTube,it might serve for personal use,but when it comes to family and commercial purpose,it will fail.

You have no point.
Rest.

Even in the US, a lot are cutting cable because the bills keeps going up. I still remember when cable used to be 10 dollars. Now they will draw you in with 49.99 deal then shit will jump to 99.99 dollars in a 2 year contract.
I cut off the danm cable, everything is on the internet.

You don't have any better ideas of how Govt works and neither the LP- imaginary govt nor PDP have a better knowledge of how to make Nigeria do without Oil! In doing that, decisions will be painful!

Baba, how much do you spend in a month to stream from Internet. Data subscription of 20k can't last you for a week of constant streaming

Internet with your smart TV will do the magic. While wasting money on DSTV when you can easily see all the content of DSTV with AOS tv app on smart TV and android phones.

The content you get on DSTv for 19800, you'd need loads of data to stream it. Plus subscription to those services too. On Compact Plus, you'd get access to most premium football games, which is a bother to find for free on the internet.

Cost of TV sports rights are going through the roof .

When u are happy that EPL footballers are earning Millions of pounds for 1 month ,a part of that money is from Nigeria .
Where I was staying years ago inn Lagos, there was this guy that connects his decoder to homes that are willing to pay token monthly. Maybe ppl can start sharing signals just like hotels do
