Delta State is a coastal state which experiences a high volume of rainfall every year with abundant inland water resources and high underwater table.

Delta has never used your Niger and doesn't need it.

The man realized that after paying salaries and servicing all the debts all the previous governors left behind, there is basically nothing left to loot. That is why he is making this noise.

Apc politicians are always brain dead what about the niger delta oil money that was used in building the dams? He doesn't even care to think about where the money came from before making unrealistic demands the only permanent solution to nigeria's problems still remains either restructuring or outright division nothing else.

Not dumb, he is technically calling for fiscal federalism. The 13% is not oil money but resources from Niger State like electricity generated money
If every state start asking for 13% for one thing or the other, the FG will b left with a meagre amount of money

I have said it several times. Implement true federalism. Unbundle the national grid nonsense.

Every state should look for means to generate power or buy from a neighbouring state.

How can states in faraway North be supplying power to the south when the south has gas in abundance?
...in June 2023 Tinubu signed the 2023 electricity bill into law which makes the states to be in control of electricity in nigeria,..the states can generate transmit and distribute electricity and the states can empowers the private sector to involve in generation, transmission, distribution of electricity but many state governors are not taking this 2023 new electricity bill serious.. except for Lagos State, enugu state that have started the process of implementing the 2023 electricity bill i

Tinubu do not have the power to restructure Nigeria. the APC led national assembly started the process of restructuring few months ago

Now, states can generate, transmit and distribute power supply.

Is this the level the leadership in Niger state has gone to ? Niger Republic is planning to dam the upper Niger and in any case kainji used to be in Kwara IBB only stole it into Niger state.

This Gov is so peurile and filled with envy. Let me help him, Niger state can make all of that money from sugar and ethanol from the waste product of sugar refining.

The land from Bida to Mokwa to kainji is almost the half of some regions and can produce millions of tonnes of sugar. He is lazy and looking for free money from FG. Terror minded leader. Same.

Which one be water supply to Niger Delta?

How much Niger State pay Kebbi, Niger republic,Mali & Guinea for the inflow of River Niger?
Allow the FG to take charge of your mineral resources if you really want 13% derivative.
One good thing about his claims, is that it's gonna spark a debate on resource control.

THE ONLY THING KEEPING NIGERIA TOGETHER IS THE MONEY THAT IS SHARED, STOLEN AND EMBEZZLED.

CORRUPTION IS WHAT IS KEEPING NIGERIA TOGETHER.

ONCE THERE IS NO MONEY LEFT TO LOOT, SHARE AND STEAL, NIGERIA WILL BE A WAR ZONE.

IT WILL COLLAPSE.

It's not a matter of only SW states wants it. Majority of the 36 states house of assembly must want it for it to become a law.

Only if this Governor have listened carefully to all HE. Peter obi 2023 campaign speech :

Niger State has massive agricultural potential to generate 1000 times revenue than the peanuts it run to collects in Abuja monthly from the Niger Delta oil money. What an irony of life, now he want 13% derivation for have a privilege federal situated dam.

Unknown to this governor some right thinking country will kill to have this Kainji dam to boost Agricultural revenue Yearly and better the life of it's citizen.

What a life, what a waste of time and governor.

It becoming clearer by the day, that the north need HE Peter obi ideas more than he need them.
