Better not to fly a large aircraft with near-empty seats for the long-term. The projection above looks simplistic and is not realistic for profitability in the long-term (in the sense that the aviation industry worldwide is U.S. dollar-denominated with employees' salaries, aviation fuel and C-Checks taking large shares of operating cost)... Even traders in the informal sector understand that principle of profit and loss.

But for that particular flight to Asaba alone, with the associated overhead costs, theoretically it would have made sense to charge that amount with 130 passengers.

The heavier the aircraft is because of more passengers and luggage, the more fuel it would consume. They sha need to work something out because it doesn't pay either ways.
