Obviously return ticket...! Op dey look for sensational headline.

Still, air fares are ridiculously expensive.

You should’ve checked the airlines fare first before concluding

Why not charge ₦‎60,000( ₦‎60,000 × 130 passengers will give ₦‎7,800,000)?

₦‎250,000 ×6 passengers just gave the airline ₦‎1,500,000

The manager of this airline is clueless just like a typical Nigerian politician!

Don't forget dey pay pilot and crews

Have you also considered aviation fuel and maintenance

Well, this is why most companies are shutting down due to loss

Instead of me to pay 250k from Asaba to Lagos, I would rather fly to Cotonou on Ethiopian airlines #70k and then enter bus #2k to Badagry. From there danfo #500 to my house.
I am not in a hurry !

How do you think the rich gets or keeps on getting richer? The charge huge for small services or items , else they remain where they are.

Items that are sold close to manufacturer's price are sold by huge margins by the wealthy, if it not bringing in huge gains, they rather not venture into it.

I just want to understand something, please don’t be offended that I am asking this.

What made you think that those cost ( fuel, salary for Pilot , maintenance) you mentioned earlier do not apply equally for both scenarios. That is, for the case of 6 passengers when compared with flying 130 passengers for a single flight as pointed out by the person you quoted earlier?

Not necessarily. There are some businesses that are modeled at marginal pricing. They get very little profit per unit but depend on sales volume to scale up. Those ones even do better. Take for instance, Gucci, a luxury expensive brand does not generate more net profit than Nike which is an average affordable brand.

Good for AirPeace.

They have been price-gouging SE travelers since. Quick to go to any country to rescue Nigerians and then pass the bill to SE
travelers. This is why I like oyibo people--they protest with their wallets. Let AirPeace keep wasting Jet-A1 flying
almost empty to SE destinations.

It is like kidnappers and armed robbers are "peppering" travellers on the road while AirPeace is "peppering" travellers
on the air. People can't just catch a break in Nigeria.

Very soon no airlines will go to the igbo land. Lol. And then, they will start saying they are hating them. Lol. Igbo themselves do not want to live in their region
Who will develop it for them? Ok ooo. They are developing Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt as they always claim. Very foo.lish way of life.

All of them on this thread are abusing Airlines....lol. we will soon see thr result. cheesy in Asake's voice....some people are wise....la la la la.. dwm think say dem pass every one....lala la la la..

The manager is the owner of the business....right? You are the real clueless guy here. Lol

Dont worry...the owner will soon stop going that route....then, when you travel on road only and no other means, you will come out and say they hate Igbo. Lol

Na only you sabi save money and show say you wise in your eyes. Lol. No worry....your eyes go soon clear when you make everyone not to see your region lucrative. Instead of you all to quickly adjust. That post was made to send out the message for igbos to do something... unfortunately, clueless ones like you made front page to even make the matter worse. Dont worry...the owner will divert the aircraft to Kaduna or Kano that is lucrative for him. Later una go shout say dem no dey go your region. You go shout tire say dem hate igbo....no worry Lol.

Honestly APC destroyed Nigeria in just 8 years.

Flight that use to be NGN15,000 is now going for NGN280,000 and no more booking ahead like 2 months ahead to save cost, all thanks to APC destructive economic policies.

Don't blame the airlines alone, it is as a result of Jet A fuel price hike all thanks to NNPC and dollar instability all thanks to CBN that is making local airfare to be this high.

Airlines pay their key staffs who are mostly foreigners in USD, they buy spare parts and go for C check in USD, so USD to Naira rate hike is also affecting them, so blame the useless APC government

You are absolutely right, but then the question is how do you mitigate your cost? By charging fares so high that your load factor becomes too low to make any meaningful recovery of the cost? or do you reduce prices, increase your load factor, and then increase revenue?

But how much food and fuel will it cost due to the added weight.
250k is high but N60k doesn’t justify the cost to fly. Likely 120k-150k

2.07 million won (US$1,638) for employees. South Korea's Minimum Wage Commission.
Equivalent to ₦1,270,000 monthly.

1 United States Dollar equals
1,311.28 South Korean won

Local flight fare 126,000 won +return ticket Equivalent to ₦77,700 They can easily afford it with min wage.

Nigeria minimum wage ₦30,000

1 United States Dollar equals
1,150 Nigerian Naira (black market)

Average domestic flight fare round trip is ₦215,000 (Lagos to Abuja wakanow). angry undecided

Can Nigeria Minimum wage ₦30,000 afford this fare?

1 Nigerian Naira equals
1.64 South Korean won

Why is our race wicked to ourselves like this? Why?
Tribalism
