I arrived Rome on Wednesday from Helsinki, Finland.

The first day, I met up with an old friend from Uruguay, that I've not seen for over 20 years. He's been living in Italy for almost
20 years after him japa from Uruguay, for greener pasture.

On Thursday, I was craving some Naija food, so I searched on google and I found this spot called Afrik Cavour Kitchen.

Below are some photos. The food was delicious. The total came up to 25 euros because I asked for an extra pounded yam, but then I gave them 5 euros tip, because they were nice people. I would give more, but I'm a poor man.

The world is global village. Eating local foods abroad is no more news.
Enjoy!

25 euros? Man that's a lot of money

It's relative, if you earn in euros and reside in Rome it's nothing compared to other restaurants. Don't use Nigeria eye to view things because it will prevent you from progressing.

Was just passing in front of the place one day and someone called me and said "Caio we sell Nigerian foods". And I've been patronizing them since.

But At termini there are other Nigerian restaurant there that you can get between €5-€10 and banter with the home boys
They have better food.

That’s why I never take all this exchange rate stuff seriously. People converting their foreign income to naira and saying they are far better off there etc.

It’s bullshiit.

That 30k he spent on his meal can feed a small family for a month in Nigeria, pay their transport fares, and even pay school fees.

SHUT UP, IDIOT.

25 Euros is a hefty sum even in Europe. You think you are the only person who knows Europe?

Inferiority complex dunce.

Without Nigeria educating your dumbass will you be able to type your insult against the country?

Animal.

In that Europe and even in Rome there are white men and women begging on the streets for even half a Euro, and many homeless beggars and pickpockets everywhere, so stop painting it to be what it is not.

Slave mentality freak.

It's cheaper than some Naija restaurants in UK. They will charge £25, with Guilder and extra meat it's almost £30. If you convert it to naira your hair will turn grey.

25% tip is actually very good...but 20 Euros is like $25 , but given that you got extra pounded yam, its OK. Great job documenting your traveling and do enjoy your life...we have only one to live.

50k in naira for egusi ..
..the. Economy there good.

Lo. It's not about the economy being good. It's about the person concerned being able to afford what he desires.

It's just like here, while some people are able to enter fast food to eat to their satisfaction some others find it difficult to do so.

That some people are able to afford it here, does it make the economy good here.

May God keep blessing us so we can afford whatever our heart desires.

Naijamanyoutube, I envy you. It's good to see you eating a Nigerian food the Nigerian way. Some folks would've opted for cutlery. But, I can't understand this: Did you eat this in Rome or Las Vegas? Why is the place so empty? I hope they earn enough to remain in business.

And, don't call yourself a poor man again because, you know, words are powerful. Keep catching cruise and sharing. Nl.fpmod, let's celebrate a guy celebrating our meals across the world.
lol na me be that cutlery nigga, cos hand wey I use pack sheet no fit enter poundo and egusi, though u enjoyed the food wella with your hand.
