APC is not a party of stupid people, don’t allow hate to cloud your judgement. You don’t make history as the 1st party to overthrow a sitting party or the 1st party to defeat the opposition despite getting less than half the total votes of the opposition by being unstrategic. Even Segun Sowunmi gave his props to APC as an party on national TV, the PDP man from Kogi who defected (Awoniyi) remarked after he got to APC , that he was in awe at the level of planning and strategy of the APC. If APC behaved like Lp or PDP they would have lost, the only reason they won is because like it or not they are the only party in Nigeria where members puts party 1st. You as a party man may not like the decision but members will fall behind decisions. That’s why they keep slaying the opposition. Such a party will never present Wike as VP when others have toiled for years, that’s how things are done in PDP but that’s not how things are done in APC, that why APC is waxing stronger and PDP is in tatters. APC is not the kind of party that will take a new comer and give him a slot over those who had been toiling for the party. That’s the difference between APC and PDP.

I am a fan of Wike but he ain’t getting no VP in APC…he never was! As it is many APC members are getting tired of his antics.

WIke as and is never an option as Vice President under APC. It is either Umahi or Akpabio…most likely Umahi and no,one says the northerner will be Shettima.
So APC come to build party and not build the nation. The nation is going down and u re busy talking about party. Why can't they used the same strategy to develop this country.

The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events. He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions.

The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The slowpoke doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.

That was how Oshi-omoh-ole waxed a very loud song in praise of Obaseki as the best thing that would happen to Edo State if the people voted and supported him to become governor. People respected him and gave Obaseki a chance.

Suddenly, Oshi-omoh-ole entered the studio again waxing another loud song against Obaseki as the worst thing to happen to Edo State and was forcing people to help him remove him from power. You know the story.

That's exactly the same thing Wike is doing. As in the case of Oshi-omoh-ole, the governor is not emptying the State treasury into Wike's pockets as instructed and so he has to be impeached within 7 months of taking office.

These are criminals with messiah complex who have so deceived themselves and are living in the fantasy of belief that they can muzzle everybody with stolen money and violence.

Tinubu and co are chameleons. They know Wike's nuisance value. They know he will later come for them. But since he has started self-destruct so early, they must now help him to destroy himself so much so that by the time the bubble bursts at Abuja, there will be no politucal base in Rivers State for him to run back to.

When you maKe an slowpoke a bus conductor....

I do not like LP or what they represent. I detest them but I will not stand here and tell you they are not a force In politics at least in sections of the south and the Christian middle belt. When you fail to recognize the strength of your enemy because you loathe or hate them it clouds your judgement and leads to failure in battle.

If you clear your eyes of prejudice you will see what I am saying without me having to explain to you. If you fail to clear your eyes nothing I say will make a difference. All I will say is they won an election with 8.7m votes against an opposition that together got over 14m votes but could not unite themselves because they lacked internal party discipline. If there was the kind of disunity in APC that existed in PDP and it’s splinter groups, they would have lost that election.

You can recognize the internal party discipline in APC and still hate them or you can let your prejudice lead you to serial losses because you failed to recognize and plan against the strength of your opponent. Propaganda does not win elections, strategy and unity does.

As we speak today APC is already planning and making moves towards 2027. Have you seen any strategic moves from the former PDP actors besides making noise on TV and social media? They will come in 2026, 6 months before elections and when they lose (as is the inevitable fate of the man who fails to plan) they will start insulting INEC and the Judiciary.

Akpabio that is senate president today under APC, when APc was formed his state was a PDP state will zero APC votes, you think his defection to APC in 2016/17 was not with an eye on today? It would surprise many that APc controls more states in the SE than any party including those parties traditionally associated with the SE, APGA, PDP and LP. It did’t happen overnight. ApC that had no presence on the SS in 2015 now controls 1 state and has made inroads into at least 2 others. The seeds were planted long ago.

So if you like continue to deny them their dues.

Giving dues to APC is like giving dues to a wealthy man who got wealthy through shady deals, I am personally a respecter of integrity but unfortunately I cant find that in APC.
Frankly speaking, I have never cared about Nigeria election cos it has always been a winning at all cost but the essence of the winning wont be felt all through the winner's tenure. My respect will be earned by that one person that would be able to bring back Nigeria's lost glory, whatever party the person comes from becomes totally inconsequential.

If showing of forces is what wins an election then let's continue with that for all I care but let's forget about any meaningful progress cos nobody will ever give what he/she doesn't have. If APC would take Nigeria to a greater height then you'll see me clap for them and if they fail then I'll be here writing my displeasure which some of you call ”hatred”.
If LP wins and start mismanaging then I will drag them also, i am not a party man, all I want is a better country for everyone.

To: Goodconsience77 & Phorget,

I constantly say on Nairaland don’t quote me to introduce a subject I did not comment on. If you quote me stick to the substance of my message.

If I post that john is married to Jane, I am only interested in whether john is married to Jane. I am not interested in discussing if John and Jane are happily married or your opinion of if Jane should have married John. If my claim that John is married to Jane is false, please provide evidence otherwise move along and find someone else to dump your frustrations on.

I responded to a post about Wike becoming a VP under APC. I responded by saying APC will never do such a thing. If you want to use that to discuss your view on the state of the country fine…but find someone else to quote and engage. I am not interested in giving life to your personal life frustrations.

For the record: I certainly am not prepared to discuss the state of the nation with anyone who thinks Peter Obi has the capacity to save the country. Thinking Obi is an option to me shows you lack the intellectual capacity to be engaged in such a discussion or you have an ulterior agenda. No one is more unfit to govern Nigeria than Obi. What is even worse than Obi are his Obidients, I have never heard an intelligent argument from any of them, just anger, irrationality and hate. It is as if once you become an Obidient you lose all brain function.

As for PDP, if they had handled the country properly or handled their party properly APC would not be in power. If you can’t manage your party, or manage your election that was yours to lose, how do want to manage a country?

So to both camps whatever problems you have with APC, look inwards, many people are frustrated with Buhari’s 8 years but still voted for APC many not because they were happy but because the alternatives you presented were not viable or you mismanaged a process that was yours on a platter. I really don’t know when the penny will drop for you that you had 14m votes against APC’s 8.7m but APC is in power are you are not! You had the votes to kick APC out of power but you sabotaged yourselves. Even if I or anyone is unhappy with APc, you are the reason APC is in power so if I were you I would STFU and crawl into a corner to reflect on how and why you messed up such a golden opportunity to kick the party you hold responsible for your woes out of power because you could not agree amongst yourselves.

LP and PDP moaning about the state of the nation is like an unemployed man who needs a job and you tell him you have made a call to a friend who is the MD and who will give him a job and he is expecting him at 8 am. However you have told your friend to expect him at 10 am to give him enough time to get there. Instead he get’s there at 12 noon, looks scruffy, didn’t bring his CV. Naturally your friend is not impressed and doesn’t give him the job and later he has the effontry to complain to you that he is broke and has no job. He had a job on a platter of gold! Do you have the time to discuss with such a person? Do you even want to see such a person, somebody that has made you look bad in front of your friend? You had your chance, Whatever you see you see!

Like I said I am not interested in discussing with you, above is my opinion..take it or leave it. As far as I am concerned your actions have not shown you are worthy or being engaged in a discussion.

This is he same man who was a part of the PDP government and economic adviser to Jonathan at a time when the economy was serially looted and mismanaged with nothing to show
This is a man who was governor for 8 years and the IGR went down during his tenure
This is a man did not declare his assets and claimed he didn’t know he had to declare the assets of his family

This is the man who managed Anambra for 8 years and his people were cursing him
This is a man who publicly swore on the lives of his childrennever to leave APGa only to leave
This is the man who empowered the SARS to the point they became the notorious unit they becamethat youths protested against.
This is the man who while his contemporaries were manufacturing became the largest importer in Nigeria of basic items. Destroying jobs and forex. When we talk of importing tomato paste and toothpicks, we are talking about Peter Obi.

This is a man who instructed the managing director of his bank to go see Diezani to collect Dasuki money.

I can go on and on

Integrity my ar se. I have no problem condemning APC or even PDP but you lose the argument and the high ground when you then present Peter Obinas an alternative. And that is he problem if he is no different and has not shown competence or capacity then people will go with who has at least shown capacity.

I have said it many times, there is no intelligent argument you can make for Peter obi based on his track record except that it is time for the SE. that’s ok but the problem is bring somebody from the SE with capacity, this is he land of the agbakogbas, the Jerome udojis, the land of dozie, the land of Soludo etc etc, so many intelligent capable ibos and it is Peter Obi you want to sell to us? The man has neither a track record in performance or in integrity.

I am not responding to you any further like I said debating with a LP or obinsupporter is like engaging a spastic. No one can give an intelligent argument in favour of Obi except that it is the time of the Ibos. You will always sound unintelligent if you attempt otherwise because there is nothing in his past record to suggest he has what is takes, if anything his track record suggests he will be the worst govt in Nigeria’s history. I voted for Buhari first and second term,I voted for Jonathan, I voted for Yaradua and I also voted for Obasanjo, if me not bowing for your lord and personal savior Tilumbu is now your pain then I have no sorry to give. My voting patterns run on my personal convictions, I have never been induced by monetary or political gains so that makes the difference between us.
You call Obi a failure but I'm sure you have never been to Anambra but your observations was based on hearsays and I'm sure you would have heard few good things about him but since the bad ones are your interest then it's okay for you to settle with that.
Your master strategists is on the helm of affairs and I'm sure everything has been so good with you, since he's your lord and savior then it will be alright to accept everything he does...the difference between us.

Even if my brother is misbehaving then trust me to castigate him, I can never be like YOU, your likes are always afraid to say the truth, NAH MY BROTHER syndrome wont ever allow you speak the truth.
APC has been piloting the country over 8years now and I'm sure it has been all Eldorado for us all so that shows the integrity of Tilumbu who has been part of the abysmal party.
I supported Obi not because I see him as a saint but because I see his little integrity outweigh that of Tilumbu but you all believe everyone supporting Obi was all about IGBO. I have always been on this forum drumming support for Osinbajo even before apc primaries and that is because I still believe in Osinbajo than your Tilumbu.

Election is over bro and the selection has been done so to those that was selected let them face their job in making Nigeria great. Forget about who voted for who and tell your master strategists to strategize on making things work cos thst is why they are there.
I AM A NIGERIAN AND I WILL CLAP FOR WHOEVER PERFORMS but I wont ever kowtow into the ideas of just winning elections alone, I need PERFORMANCES please.

If you voted for Buhari not just 1st term bu second term, then it is no surprise you are backing Obi. Buhari has antecedents, I was around when he was head of state we were on the streets rejoicing when he was toppled. He was an economic disaster then. Check my posts o have said it time and time again that 1) I have never voted for Buhari 2) despite the fact that I didn’t vote for him he performed well in certain respects however 3) economy has never been his forte and just as I predicted in 2015 he was an unmitigated disaster economically 4) I have also said many times that the image of a tough corruption fighter that people were hanging on to was a Buhari as a military man and that he cannot fight corruption as a civilian especially when he rose to power on The backs of Tinubu, Saraki Amaechi and co.

It is the lack of brain function that caused you to support Buhari without examining his antecedents that is now prompting you to suppprt Obi because you don’t like what is on ground.

Again I say if your supported Buhari twice as you claim and he brought so much economic hardship to the country try, shouldn’t you examine your criteria for choosing presidents after all you have failed twice.

Check my posts I have said it many times I never voted for Buhari. I have also said I can never vote and have never voted for PDP. I also said that I was not so much in a upport of Tinubu as I was a believer that he is the best of a bad bunch. Least bad of a bad bu ch was a term I used before elections…check my posts. I have since changed my opinion and am very happy I voted Tinubu. But at the time the main reason I voted for Tinubu was because I knew an Obi presidency would be a disaster and PDP after 8 yrs out of office would be a cesspit of corruption. The point is if we examine our past voting patterns, it is clear I get it right more than you. Why? Because I engage my brains.

Look I said I do not engage Obidients for a reason, you have used up too much of my time.you guys don’t think! There is no intellectual argument back by critical thinking that will lead a thinking man to support Obi. Except it is the time of the SE. the man does not have a record to run on. The Ibos who are supporting him know he was a disaster but they want an Ibo president, so they I understand.

If you are Ibo I know your game, if you are not you have no brains. It is as simple as that!!

Below is just one of my old posts

”Obi's presidency would be a disaster“... And will you adjudge Tinubu's presidency a utopia?
I put it to you that you voted Tinubu base on tribalism and nothing more! What special thing has he done to make you conclude he's the best amongst the rest? Was it his selfish skill of permutation that endeared him to you?

Yes I voted Buhari due to my believe from Tinubu's recommendation of him,I am not a supporter of Buhari and that was why I never voted him in his other attempt to presidency until Tinubu painted him a saint. If greed is a person then Tinubu would be that person,Tinubu played us all into bringing Buhari into power and he never for once condemned any atrocities by the ex general(this was actually my grievance against Tilumbu).
The way you saw Tinubu as the best among the bunch was also the way others sees their own candidate as the best among the bunch but you having the guts to call others brainless for supporting a candidate different from yours shows how bad you've grown overtime. I have no issue with anybody been the president, my issue is the performance.

Go to the street and adjudge for yourself if everything is okay then come back and convince me regarding the ”excellent” work been done by Tinubu so far.
I voted Obi in the last election, if Obi is the president and things are like this then trust me not to keep a seal lip bro, despite voting Buhari I was constantly against his numerous maladministrations and that is just the difference between you and I. Shame and Hatred wont allow you agree that you are wrong so you rather grumble in the secret while you come out to defend your failure.

99% of Ibos votes for Obi but me I am a tribalist?

This is why I don’t engage Obidients. I apologize to you and others for breaking my rule.

Since this platform does not have a block function, I will take note of your handle. Consider yourself ignored!

Just like I wont engage any dimwit in any debate for whatsoever, you have really taken a substantial moment of my time with your single sided reasoning capacity. Engaging with you doesn't worth it either but I will tell you this for free... MAY THUNDER FIRE YOU ANYDAY YOU SECRETLY OR OPENLY LAMENT ABOUT THIS PRESENT GOVERNMENT YOU HELPED BRING INTO POWER.

Any igbo that voted for Obi just because he is igbo is also a tribalist that is just the fact.
