Thief de query thief.

Welcome to Thiefnibuus Nigeria.

Tunji Ojo has been identified as the next thief.

Let's see the punishment that will be meted out to him since he's family.

Said by someone whose lineage is known for moving drugs across the continent. Very primitive disgusting utterance.

Nigerian youth is indeed tomorrow's leader. Can you imagine, what if she become a governor?

Instead of being a good example to her generation, she blew up the little opportunity she has.

The audacity of it all.
These appointees sometimes want to belittle the office of the president, maybe because of the way they were appointed.
Asides from the cabinet meetings,it's quite rare for ministers and appointees to have a one on one meeting with the president, unless summoned.
A minister can go throughout his/tenure without having any direct meeting with the president.
You go through the Chief of Staff's office, which itself is a large office with his own personal secretary and deputy chief of staff, permanent secretary etc.
Even the COS sometimes has to then get appointment to see the president through the president's own personal secretary or personal assistant.

The Dynamics of Otilo In Betta-gate

She was politically naive and financially reckless.

Money, when held in trust, is a potential stain, that can easily smear one.

What was she thinking whilst making all those frivolous withdrawals? In the age of forensic accounting, any money moved would be detected easily.

The moment the memo leaked, she should have fallen on her sword and resign honourably.

With all due respect to the women of this age, it seems they are hung on vanities. What was she gonna do with all those monies anyway?

Her last ditch attempt at reaching the president is a lame attempt to swim above troubled waters while drowning. But the dynamics of otilo has already played out, triggered largely by the public who were alarmed at such level of corruption.

She wanted to go start begging him. This will serve as deterrent to other looters in government.

Civil service is like a criminal organisation where everyone is free to steal but must not be caught in the act.

If you people believe she moved such money on her own accord then you still do not know what kind of country you are in. Its a syndicate. Sha don't get caught. If you are and the case doesn't die down quietly, too bad for you. They will all distance themselves from you and make you the scapegoat. She is being made a scapegoat and she wanted to cry to her zaddy.

Most of you don't even understand what she did.
The money was not carted away, that is not how politician's steal.
Money to be stolen is obtained via bogus contracts not direct transfer.

The money was lodged in a private account to generate interests to be shared later.
This is why I see EFCC just wasting its time "investigating", there is no punishment for
lodging government money in private account, you will have to prove that the intent
was to convert such to personal use.

seunmsg:

The above is wrong and not the case. Tunji-Ojo did not award any contract to a company he has interest in unlike Peter Obi that diverted public funds to his family business. Tunji-Ojo is the Minister of Interior and the company in question won a consultancy contract advertised and implemented by Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs. There is no conflict of interest whatsoever.

Again, the company in question has been in existence doing business with various governments since 2009. Tunji-Ojo resigned as a director of the Company since 2019 and as not participated in running the company since then.

The company in question is one won a contract after following due process as laid down in the Public Procurement Act just like every other company that won contracts in the Ministry. If not for evil agenda, why single out only that company? Is there a law that says the company can no longer bid for and win contracts in accordance with Public Procurement Act?

Thanks for educating me. Now it make more sense.
