The girl in question comes from a region that has witnessed her people being slaughtered by Fulani herdsmen. So, it is approrairte to piushb that she moves away from that region to somewhere safer. Also, inasmuch as talented Nigerians exist in Nigeria, the chances are higher for them to excel outside the country. This thread about highest JAMB scorers says it all: https://www.nairaland.com/7763389/top-jamb-scorers-where-today Many relocated.

Typical tribalist. While Mmesoma cheated, the highest JAMB scorer is also Igbo. Are you going to cry blood this time?!

Yes the girl that got the highest score was Igbo(living in Lagos) but she wasn't as celebrated by her kins as the one who cheated.

The way her people rushed to defend without waiting for the result of official investigations is alarming..even respected and well educated people including a fomer minister of educations(who one expects should know more) came out full blast in her defence..without conducting any investigation of their own.

Its no surprising because the story of the girl who cheated fits in well with the victim mindset that has become the mantra of her kin.

Unfortunuately the story of jamb in 2023 is more about the celevrated cheater than the hard working humble girl that got the best result, even though they are both from the same state.

There is nothing strange in top academics performers seeking opportunities for advancement abroad, it is not peculiar to Nigeria, the best brains tends to move closer to where the best facilities and opportunities in there field is available, and those places are not in Nigeria.

Nigeria however gave them the pedestral that allows them to be advitised to the rest of the world and just like good footballers they are just moving on to a bigger league.

If Nigeria killed their talents, they wont have had the opportunity to move on
