No one has carried out a direct strike on Iran. Not even the US with all its might. Israel might have sponsored sabotage but not direct hit.

Israel's jets will barely make it out alive if they even penetrate the Iranian airspace. If they fire missiles directly, Iran will respond immediately with more even more damaging response.

There's a reason Israel wants US to hit Iran, but the price will be too much. Sanctions was then used in place of that. What will the US tell its citizens as to why they should sacrifice thousands of their young souls in an endless war with Iran?
