This September/October UK school resumption, is the "last bus" for those coming with dependants.

A friend of mine who came as dependant showed me a WhatsApp group he belonged to, it has over 450 members.... all former staff of a particular commercial bank in Nigeria, who all don japa come UK as students or dependants.

What got me laughing was how they introduce themselves when they newly joined the group....I am (name), (branch), (last position held), (UK town or city presently in).....I don show, make una show me the way!😆😆😆😆

If Nigeria and our tertiary are up to the standard, why would Nigerians be studying in abroad when the reverse should have been the case

Most of them dont have accomodation, they stay in B%B until they are able to sort themselves out. So u can imagine paying as much as 50pounds daily for accomodation. Our government should do more back home. Our educational system has crumbled almost beyond repair. The primary school is gone, secondary schools no go area and now its affecting our universities. Citizens are all turning to private institutions. Where have we got it wrong? Maybe presidents and politicians who don't value education.

Getting a job is not as important as having the intention to pay back. And yes there will be jobs to pay back if Nigerian youths can cure themselves of their LAZY mentality. There are lots of brown collar jobs which you can earn so much than white collar jobs. Once again there will be jobs and again point of note, the loan is not by force.

I reside in Port-Harcourt about 1 and half years ago Iost my cousin. He died of heart attack. After his death, his wife has been getting closer to me, always calling me and visiting me and am still single. I have had failed relationships in the past. I have been so unlucky with the kind of ladies I met. They are always violent and disrespectful which I dislike so much.

But during my cousins lifetime, she was so good, cool and caring to my cousin and they never had any misunderstanding and they married for just 6 years here in Port Harcourt before he died and they never had a child due to infertility on the side of the cousin. But now everyone like friends and family knows me and scared if I should make advances to her if they won't be saying things against me or should I just forget and look for another lady to marry.

Pls i need ur serious advise. She has fallen in love with me already.

The kind of expensive phone handset most students use on campus alone......what does it justify? These are folks that have not even started working to earn a living. lol .
Our students are very rich, you need to enter where students rent as accommodation and see how so furnished it is.

Our students are not poor at all. Most live exhorbitant life style.

We just love complaining and complaining and complain.

How much will the tuition FG may want to introduce be, that students don't already spend as chicken change.

The student loan is for the truely poor which of course is a blessing a great opportunity.

Where did the students get the money? Pls enlighten us since u know them so well. Moreso ask bros Tinubu if the students will get jobs to pay back the loan.

But those on my foot & left eye subsided with the help of an kind elder-state dad in my area.

Now the one disturbing right now is the bony protuberance I've on my forehead which is at a degenerating stage, it's actually began with a childhood habit of mine which involves rubbing my thumb knuckle roughly on my other finger which I find pleasurable now this habit metamorphosed recently & upgraded to my forehead but I only did it when I'm sad, not knowing that I'm causing injury to my forehead but then when I noticed some little bump I stopped it even before I went for service, since then it's just growing.

Please I need all the help I can get right now.

Do you have sense at all? Do you know the safety measures in place at China? They have special lanes for bicycles, they drive like normal people, public transportation and private are well controlled. So is it in Nigeria that public transportation do not obey trafic lights right in front of the police officers that you want to use bicycles? I'm sure you are among those blindly supporting APC and Tinubu. You obviously never see anything wrong. From 185 to 500 and minimum wage is still the same, how can you explain that?
