They're not igbos or Fulani.
They're all omo Odua Atata!!!
They just don't get it, the farmers and hunters that stopped the Biafran solders at Ore were protecting Yoruba land.
The Ibadan warriors who mobilized the rest to Oshogbo, to stop the Fulanis, were protecting the land.
Ogbomosho stopped the Fulanis from going in, through Otte.
Omo Oduduwa don't play with their sovereignty, the earlier these wanderers understand, the better for them.
You can't take from the Yoruba unless it's freely given, the people of Ilorin are crying today because their fathers freely gave themselves out.

It has become obvious the state government is mischievously targeting the igbos.

Why? Because they are scared of being dominated by the igbos.

The fact is the Almighty Creator is with the igbos and no body can stop them from shining and dominating,

Imagine the statement from the Vice President of Nigeria referring to an individual as an institution. What a reckless remark. Dangote is not an institution, and if he is the pillar of Nigeria's economic development, then I feel very sorry for this country.
Be sorry for yourself, Dangote is a major employer of labour in this country, and Africa.
Even if you hate him for reason best know to you, which is actually your effing business, more Nigerians with Dangote's mindset, will do us a whole lots of good.
Yes Shettima was right, Dangote is indeed an institution.

Hunger, insecurity, dilapidated job opportunities, all manners of economic delays going on in the country, but na boat race we dy cheer?
Boat race but no job opportunities
Boat race but herdsmen ravage
Boat race but poor health care
Boat race but poor education
Boat race but stagnant development
Boat race but nothing tangible a whole self acclaimed giant of Africa can boast of.

Like let's tell ourselves the truth. How long we are going to keep defending trash?
This message is for your state government.
Lagos is doing well, this is what we need in Lagos.

They don't have permits or approved building plans from Lagos State Government
See a lot people will cry in that area in years to come, agric lands have been converted to residentials.
So bad that people's agric business were sabotaged, imagine sand filling fish ponds and sending the owners to early graves.
The government officials at Alausa knows that the LASG will one day come for those buildings.
Those who gave bribes to have their way can't feign ignorance, infact they should all be arrested along with their accomplices in government office.
And LASG should continue to recover these stolen lands from those land thieves, if the lands can't be returned to the original owners, the government should find a better use for the lands.
Enough is enough.

Wallade:
You either didn't read this article we'll or you missed some information on it.

When I saw the demolition, I thought the same way. I was wondering why Lagos State Government allowed the approval and development of the buildings in the first place but the hidden truth lies in this article.

Obviously, the developers of those properties dealt and got the land acquisition and building permits through the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board (LITFCMB). They developers also felt the LITFCMB is an agency of a Federal Ministry, hence Federal Government.

Lagos State government must have communicated the disapproval to the developers but they must have insisted on continuing the projects even when Lagos state government is against it but they were relying on the authority of the LITFCMB.

What they chose to ignore is that the land and properties in Lagos are under the control and powers of Lagos State Government. LITFCMB is subject to the Lagos State government and the Authority of Lagos State government is superior to the authority of LITFCMB.

Besides, why didn't the igbo developers invest these funds in developing properties and land in the South East? Why the constant focus on investment in Lagos, yet when they encounter challenges, they want to blame the government of Lagos State.
+1000000 likes for you.
The scramble for Lagos is like the scramble for and partition of Africa, where the real owners were systematically emasculated and subjugated.
If you know the number of indigenes that died during the Maroko relocation, I lost three uncles in that terrible experience.
They gather themselves in Lagos from everywhere in this country, hiding under federal government agencies, to share
ancestral lands in Lagos.
Imagine Atiku is the landlord of 1,004 flats on V/I, and there are still more, in Ikoyi.
Those are the kinds of nonsensical underground runs going on in Lagos, since independence.
Later they'll band themselves together to
shout Tinubu Ole, e no go beta for Omo onile.
At least the Omo onile has rights to the lands, na him papa get am.
What I don't understand are those crying up and down, why they should break laws and expect a pat on the back.

I foresaw this kind of mess and that's why I strongly objected to any possibility of this Tinubu monster assuming power.

Before now, we know that having 'federal connection' was a sufficient counterforce to the madness of these terrorists that have hijacked Alausa.

Unfortunately now, Alausa is effectively the same thing as Federal Government. Very tragic. They have the full control to demonstrate and exhibit their tribalistic madness.

But time settles everything, and power must change hands in due time... And retribution is a must, however long it takes.
No matter how much power change hands, you won't have what's mine, unless I willingly give it to you.
Your fathers tried more than this, you know it ended in premium tears, Lagos is some people's home land, and the owners have the right to use the lands as they like.

I never said Yorubas don't build, but they hardly build outside their place. If everyone builds in their regions, the South East will have the most beautiful place in Nigeria. I'm not saying this because I am Igbo, which I am not and never wished to be one. The truth remains that Igbos contribute significantly to the growth of wherever they reside. The Edos are trying as well, even though they don't have that much population.
Ile Koko n'tagbe, ajo o dabi Ile.
Yorubas knows they and their sweats are safer in their homeland.

Big bread is still between 1900 to 2000.

The price of Mango Rice is still above 90k here in PH.
The price of cardbury Hot chocolate just went up from 350 to 400 Naira last week.
So what exactly are they talking about?

Here we will see the dramatic approach to this thread, which will definitely come down to tribal sentiment. We in this country, especially the recent generations has refused to see our problems as catholical and beyond boundaries, ethnicity, or religious beliefs. The only people who are a bit different are the northerners. But in the south, let an Igbo, Benin, Ijew, Hausa, Efik, etc, make a slight comment on any unhealthy situation that affect everyone in any Yoruba land, especially Lagos, the Yorubas will demand for his or her head or ask him to pack and go back to his region. And yet, we sing for growth. My honest question is, how is this going to come?
Una go cry taya, enemy of progress.
As useless as Lagos is, which state is better than Lagos state in this country?.
Or you think the next generation of Yorubas will be so stupid to support your ulterior motives to destroy Lagos?.
Today the neverdowells prefer Fashola as if they don't also hated him.
The most beautiful part of the story is that " there's absolutely nothing y'all can do about the current status and the state of mind in Lagos. ".

To me these are excuses of a lazy mind. They always have reason why someone is more successful than them rather than figuring out how to plan out their own successes
According to news, Dangote Refinery was pitched to Rivers, Ondo, Ogun, and Lagos States while other State's Governors were demanding a share in the company, Lagos State saw the bigger picture, today they say is history.
Lagos has waged wars to make sure it is peaceful while other states permitted anarchy, unknown gun men, sit at home (all self inflicted) and yet crying why Lagos is successful.
Before independence, Ibadan was the largest city in Nigeria, highly successful business men trading in cocoa and industrial activities.
Its important for each state to build on their strengths and strike to be self reliant.
You better believe it, Ibadan then was the largest city in west Africa.
