Try see a dietitian/Nutritionist first. I pray it's just a minor issue that can be corrected with proper feeding regime. |

He is breathing from his mouth that's why he can't close them. A clear sign of enlarged Adenoids which in turn is causing a severe shortage of oxygen at the normal levels required for proper mental and physical development.

Just take him to a good hospital for complete medical evaluation to clear all doubts then I'll suggest you look up Tom Brown then be preparing it like custard for him to drink regularly. You can add dried dates to the other ingredients before grinding as a sweetener. I'm sure you give him multivitamins regularly so if the hospital says he's okay, you'll just have to channel his stature into sports like basketball. Do the first like 6 months. Don't boil the eggs and cut,just mix the raw egg in the grounded beans before steaming/ boiling. If you can afford it,give a lot of rich tea with enough milk. Then again,he's not too young to try doing some little power exercises like pushups and lifting some little weights under your guidance,o...that will make him build muscles and bones. It may also be hormonal issue or some kinds of allergy..... Get w doctor that can study him over a period time. I have a boy like that, and he is healthy and rarely fall sick. But no one dare question why he is skinny. Is he their son? Visit a dietician or food nutritionist, feed him with body building food, proteinous and carbohydrate food avoid some fruits like orange, watermelon and introduce him to eating mushroom, wing termites, egg plant not garden egg as for the mouth run a scan to ascertain the conditions of the lungs. |

I Only call on God by Praying feverntly whenever somethings bordered me or am in need, I don't rush to Pastors because I see myself as a small God and this has been working for me, I can only advise u to do same with Faith, just do what uv not being doing for God and see the result, when you keep a target of your answers to the Prayers and if it doesn't come don't Pray about it again, rather praise, Dance and thank God in an unusual way in ur closet, this has been working for me |

Take him to a doctor to check him over. Particularly his tonsils. blazer2018:

I have a twelve years old son who is very lanky, he looks d*mn too malnourished for comfort. He was very robust from birth till around the age of 8, when all of a sudden he started depreciating, initially, we thought it was a normal thing, as he was growing taller too, but now, I can't even bring myself to post his pictures on my status. He looks just like 7up's Fido Dido.
Now, this is a boy who eats whatever he wants, he's well fed, and lacks nothing. But with his looks, you will doubt that he's even fed at all. Although he looks far from being healthy, but he rarely falls sick. He's so skiny that whoever sees him, asks us what's wrong with him. Another thing, he always leaves his mouth opened, something that has now affected his teeth. We tried every tricks in the book to stop this, but to no avail, he can hardly keep his lips shut for more than 30 seconds.
Now, he's is a very hyperactive boy and finds it difficult concentrating atimes, but he's well above average in school.
Kindly help with solutions to this problem, it brings tears to my eyes as we have done everything we can think of to reverse this. Recently, a doctor suggested we place him on egg regimen, he now eats 3 eggs daily, but there seems to be no changes whatsoever.
Recommended medications, specialist or hospital we can take him to, preferably in the South West would be highly appreciated.

I see nothing wrong here. Next year, you’ll come here to complain that he’s started eating past your salary. Let the boy live. So far he’s physically healthy, that’s all which matters. |
