Then you know i'm right. Keep two parrots in a cage and see what happens after a week. One will starve the other to death. No matter how you want to train them to be social, one will always deprive the other of resources in one cage. I knew that bitterly after my loss.

Getting to the office, as a new and first time pet owner, I was excited.

I noticed that if I tried to to get close to the parrots via the cage, they turned their backs especially the smaller one.

I didn't know what prompted me to try bringing the birds out from the cage with my hands, one of the birds grabbed my finger with it's beak and bit me real hard.

It gave a cut that bled more than I'll ever imagine.

Long story short, I just told my office assistant to carry the birds to her house. I no do pet owner again.

Imagine if this had bitten any of my kids.

Same day I owned a pet, same day I became petless.

ES
You should have done a bit of research. They still don’t know you. It takes time.
Did you grab the mother of your kids the first day you met her? Are you not “grabbing “ her uppandan now?
These things need time. …and be patient too. Parrot are fun birds.

It's not true. Now let me explain something to you, parrot love to cuddle, bond, social life and they hardly get bored if they are more than one. Pair is very good for them cos it kills boresomeness in them. So many people just have parrot, put just mellet there, Parrot love to explore, you put toys there with them, give them variety of fruit and beans are good for them too but make it half done so that it can kill the acidic in it. Thrown apple them, i put tangle ropes there for them to have fun and bond. With this they are best buddies.

grin... you are not serious and very impatient. You want a pet of one day to love you immediately ... Please don't adopt a human child.

Parrot can nearly bite off your finger, if you attempt to pick them up.
I remembered December 2023 my Naibour parrot came out of the cage so I was asked to help them pick it when I see the action of that parrot 🦜 I fear, the tongue make my fear them I eventually used a stick to marshal it into the cage after a long shakara

Good for you. Because you lack the patience to even have a pet. Though the biting was unfortunate, but you have to give yourself and the parrots time to acclimatise to each other. You don't know what they have been thru. You could've learn from their behaviour and try to modify their behaviour in the process.
Please next time before getting any pet, try to know more about the animal and the race you are getting. It will better prepare you for any eventualities.

I prefer the grey parrot with red tail. They are bigger, finer and learn faster
but that doesn't mean they won't bite u if u put ur hand near their mouth. My uncle has a this type and it is only when it knows u it will allow u near it's mouth or around it

You should've used them to create Tiktok/YouTube contents. They get millions of views. When you were buying, you should've recorded. The first time you went to play with them record. By now we would've been watching the video of the bite and laughing in exchange fo views and money.

Some of your posts make me want to cry because I've really learned a lot from you plus all these ideas that keeps popping up but the frustration is overwhelming.

I just saw this post at this particular moment that I'm looking for a way to monetize the hardship I'm currently battling so I don't have to go back to doing monkey dey work, baboon dey chop jobs to raise money for some emergency necessities.

First thing i must say is these are some ugly parrots. Nothing cute about them at all, Secondly why not buy them trained or as chicks? You just bought random adult birds with no training from a guy on the street? Poor decision making.
