That analysis must be wrong, the highway can not go through all these states without passing through the corridor of edo state
what part of "coastal highway" is too complicated for you?

My take is that Tinubu would do better than Buhari.

The economy would recover and our currency would appreciate during his tenure.

I've always known that the glory of Nigeria and Nigerians shall return during Tinubu era.

These I can bet with my balls.

Are you saying they no longer have space to even afford road construction ? Or that they have zero access to large body of water? The road can go through the landlocked areas to the coastlines na

We dont need this joke of a highway...have people noy been going to calabar via this routes even as we speak via road...?

If he is serious, he should commit funds for a railway for same route...not this, unnecessary project...

Nonsense!!!
If you have sense you will understand that a road is of higher priority...
Despite Lagos Ibadan railway..has that reduced the traffic of the main highway?..

Can the rail cater for every kind of cargo?

I'm rather in support of this highway. Railway alone world be even better. Your good advice would be more suitably applied to the planned Niger Republic railway from Nigeria.

When are you starting the Northern Nigeria-Chad-Niger Republic- road network but circumvent the eastern and northeastern Nigeria in the process?
Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway. Standard railway gaude for Abuja-Kaduna-Niger Republic.
No standard railway lines or any of the highways in the SE region leading to the NE region.

Other countries fought civil war and ended it, forged ahead after the war.
In Nigeria, two ethnic groups still fight the civil war against the vanquished. The two ethnic groups are all about what more to get from the wealth of the Niger delta region before the final dissolution of Nigeria.

You have not completed this Abuja-Kaduna-Kano superhighway by Julius Berger; not started its southern equivalent that is supposed to start from the coastal area of the Niger delta region across most of the region through rest of the SE region into Abuja.
Yet, you have jumped into another most expensive Lagos-Calabar coastal highway on a most difficult marshy coastal terrain?
Scrambling for riches in the Niger delta region.
By the way, have your people not heard that railways, not motorways, are the most used and most efficient travel methods in today's world?

I know you will foolishly bring SE..

FYI section 2 and section 3 of the Abuja Kaduna zaria Kano road is completed

Their focus is section 1 which is Abuja to Kaduna..the. Delay is caused by funding and bandits..

Second..there is no coastal road to SE...
please what you have is port Harcourt to Enugu road which covers most part of SE..FYI that road is under construction...inshort section 4 which is port Harcourt to aba handled by CCECC is moving fast ..a section of it is 10 lanes..

Section one which runs from enugu handled by Arab contractors is still moving..

In Nigeria, the roads are top priorities before the rail..
This is common sense..you fix the road then build rail as an alternative..

Everything that moves on rail will move on road..but not everything that moves on the road will move on the rail (I am talking about the feasibility aspect of logistics)...this is why Lagos Ibadan railway is not even being used up to 10% of capacity...

Warri itakpe rail is even worse..

Because you are at economic war against the SE and some of the oil producing areas in the Niger delta region, that's why mere mention of the SE, the buffer zone to the rest of the Niger delta region, keeps you dazed.

What ten lanes road are you building from Portharcourt to Enugu? It dose not exist. There is the Obasanjo's old PH-Aba Express road whose reconstruction stopped at Obehi at the boundary between Rivers state and Abia state.
Continue to be fooling yourselves circumventing the SE region that is the tech and economic engine room of Nigeria, but build infrastructures in less endowed and baren areas of the country.
Remember NITEL? NITEL died after modern Digital Telecom exchanges were first built in tiny barren cities of north and SW Nigeria, but morribund Analog Telecom exchanges were left in the busy large cities in the SE including parts of the rest of the Niger delta region. You now use toys to communicate with in Nigeria. Oyibo who invented mobile phones will not touch mobile phone for important communication if landline telephone is available.

Even a dunce must agree that PH-Aba-Onitsha-Benin-Ijebuode-Lagos is the most used trading and passenger route in Nigeria, and unarguably, going to be the most profitable standard gauge railway route and ultramodern highway in Nigeria. A superhighway and modern standard gauge railway lines on this route
are supposed to generate the revenues to start similar highways and standard gauge railway lines in other parts of Nigeria. But useless political actors ontop chose to waste the country's resources on building elephant projects first in areas where they will yield no profit to be used to continue with building in other parts of the country. Depend on oil and gas revenues, not on profits from the existing infrastructures, to build the next.

How many people live on the coastline where you want to invest trillion Naira building a superhighway?
Superhighway and modern standard gauge railway lines are most expensive projects.
You build such roads and railway for humans and goods transportation, not for goods transportation alone; not for human transportation alone.

It’s a remarkable project but why give the project to only HITECH,what pedigree do the company have, who are the owners of the company?

Was there due and proper bidding before the award of the contract?
I pray the project is finished in due time.
