When it comes to pricing, I believe Air Peace would have done their calculations before arriving at their respective prices.

That was the mistake they made. In such kind of situation, their representatives should have met with the foreign airlines operating the root and have some sort of common ground about the price.

Air peace can't just come and slash the price without the foreign airlines kicking back.

They are competitors not enemies

Anyways, their rivalry na for the benefits of the travellers

It's an open market , should they not do business because of Air Peace , we don't need another monopoly,
We want fierce competition to reduce airfares .

Ps
Let's see if Air Peace will Charge more for Christmas as they do for local flights

U WILL ALL LEARN, ONLY CHAIN AND PADLOCK WITH IRON DOOR CAN HOLD THE IGBO MAN.

They were not trying to be competitive, they were simply trying to set a trap for Nigerian, same scenario have played out with arik in the past, Nigerian are the ones that bare the brunt

The foreign airlines conspired to push out arik from UK route and as soon as they achieved it they overinflated their price thereby running a group monopoly, same is what they want to do with air peace unless we Nigerian are too dull to see

As soon as the United foreign airlines successfully push out air peace they will take their price back to 3m for economy, how can the price of Nigeria to London be twice the price of Accra to London, is the distance twice far?

Those foreign airlines are running a united monopoly and fortunately for them Nigerian through tribalism are enabling them

In 3 years time when air peace is finally sent packing expect Nigeria-UK tickets to be around 5m while Ghana is less than 1m

Na wa o. Your explaination makes sense. These people are heartless o. I thought it was just natural competition.

My brother, l used to see you for years as a patriotic Nigerian but with this your stand, you have scored an own goal.
Are you saying You are happy Nigérians are paying higher fares than other African countries ? If, Air peace was to be Our National carrier, would you also advocate they maintained same fares with other foreign carriers at the detriment of Nigerian travellers and our Naira ?
Should You not be congratulating air peace for bringing down the prices and helping our economy ? Bro, everything is not about politics! You scored an own goal here.

Yes, that should have been the right move. Air peace met some airlines operating from Nigeria to UK, it's insensitive of Air peace to slash the pice without no proper consultation with other airlines.

If Air peace ticket to London is $700, na to just drop theirs to $650.

Everyone is allowed to play the game

No one is frustrating anyone .

Air peace should have made proper consultation with other airlines before splashing the average airline ticket to UK.

Win win for the travellers as the airlines would drag themselves to the extent of free falling the price .

Modified: As usual, tribal coloration must be added to my comments. Air peace is our own, we all want it's success but they can't be doing things in a wrong way without calling them out.

First Air peace trip from Nigeria to UK, they had issue in both Nigeria and UK, can everybody be wrong? Perhaps, Air peace should have a proper consultant teams that would help them to put things in order before taking any steps..
Shut up sir

Stop this long talks.....were you ok with the exploitation? Would you pay 3m for a trip to London? You should be asking why the sudden decrease in there air fares wen airpeace was introduce. If there weren't airpeace, they will still say its the economy and all that....
Attimes be reasonable in your comments.

Haven't heard a rival contacting another rivals to negotiate price as you assumed, foreign airlines have been exploiting Nigerians for so long until Airpeace came in, as a patriotic Nigerian you should have been asking yourself why those foreign airlines maintained their price hike until Airpeace came in with a lesser price in same route & not insinuating rúbbísh consultation.

It's for their own benefits. So many airlines have closed down for towing same lane Onyema want to be taking.

It's would be a big pride for Air peace to succeed but they should play by the rules
