I know the answer to how to retain memories but it’s the most difficult thing to achieve. By denying body desires and pleasures. These beings can exist on the surface of the earth in two ways:

They can exist in their non-human form but create a visual illusion of a human form. This is called shape-shifiting. In this case they are still in their non-human form but cast a visual spell on humans to see them as human.

Only a human with third eye open or a human operating on 5th level spiritual consciousness can overcome the visual spell and see them in their true form.
