Michael547:Is a Christian not acceptable to the body of Christ? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by FatherCHRISTMAS(f): 7:53am On May 24 |
Livingdeath: Good morning. I hope you have a rethink because it isn't that ideal moving from one denomination to another. The simple reason is because it affects your growth in church leadership. If you have been a member of a denomination for a number of years, you understand their teachings, mode of worship and leadership. This way, you too start to fit into the leadership role and guide. But if you leave a church, you are going back to start as anew comer |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 8:09am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:A Christian is acceptable to christ. But are denominations that are not in agreement biblically acceptable to Christ? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 8:18am On May 24 |
Michael547:What does denomination represent in your question? Humans or doctrines? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 8:42am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:Denominations means different groups of Christians who claim to follow Christ. Example is the Catholics and Pentecostals. While both claim to follow Christ, they do not agree on biblical doctrines. Is that acceptable in the body of Christ? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 9:06am On May 24 |
Michael547:There is no christian denomination in which all the members will go to hell. At least, those who are infants at the time of rapture or those who died as infants in every christian denomination will go to Heaven. Even all other infants outside Christianity will be accepted by God on the last day. Definitely, some adults in every christian denomination will go to Heaven. Adults who disobey God until death will go to hell, irrespective of any christian denomination they claimed to have identified with. This is why it is wrong to refer to the members of any christian denomination as non-christians. This is why I repeatedly told you that, in every christian denomination, some members are Christians while some are not yet Christians or may not become Christians before rapture. For the christian denominations you believe have the right doctrines, are you aware that some of their members do not obey those doctrines? For any christian denomination you believe does not have the right doctrine, are you aware some members in that denomination do not obey its doctrines? If you believe that the Pentecostal Churches are the ones with the right doctrines, are you aware that some of their members go against their doctrines? Let me use RCCG or Living Faith or Deeper Life as an example. None of the Churches I mentioned here have doctrines that support fornication, adultery and abortion. But some members in each of these churches commit fornication, adultery and abortion. But it is wrong for anyone to claim that all the members in each of these Churches will go to hell. It is also wrong for anyone to claim that all the members in each of these Churches will go to Heaven. This same thing applies to the Catholic Church, whether you accept or condemn the doctrines of the Catholic Church. Meanwhile, I am not trying to discuss the doctrines of various Churches here because the direction of my comment is not towards church doctrines but towards the caption of the post. My reference to doctrines in this particular response is to explain to you why it is wrong to regard the members of any christian denomination as non-Christians, and why it is wrong to claim that all the members of a particular christian denomination will go to hell or that all those members will go to Heaven. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 9:50am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:If you believe that there is no denominations in which all it's members will go to hell means that you believe that all Christian denominations are acceptable to the body of Christ irrespective of their contradictory doctrines from the Bible? Yes or no sir? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 9:55am On May 24 |
Michael547:1. Mention any christian denomination in which the infant members will go to hell. 2. Mention any christian denomination in which no adult member will go to heaven. 3. Mention any christian denomination in which no adult member will go to hell. I am waiting for your response. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 9:58am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:I never claimed any of what you made up there. I have been consistently asking a simple question. Are different denominations with their contradictory biblical doctrines acceptable in the body of Christ? Yes or no sir? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:01am On May 24 |
Michael547:Since you can't answer the three questions, it is clear that you are just wasting my time, and I will not respond to you again. I repeatedly told you that in every christian denomination, some adults will go to heaven while some adults who die in sin will go to hell. The bolded part clearly answers your question. You kept on asking me whether all the members of all the christian denominations will go to heaven I have repeatedly answered the question in different words and that's why I decided to ask you the three questions. It is clear you have no fact against my comments on this thread. Suit yourself. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:04am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:I never asked you about any denomination going to heaven. Don't lie oga. My question has been consistent. Are different denominations with their contradictory biblical doctrines acceptable in the body of Christ? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:06am On May 24 |
Michael547:My comment which you challenge is not about doctrines. So, why are you taking the comment out of context? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:09am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:Your comment argued that all denominations including the Catholics are true Christians. So my question is are all denominations acceptable to the body of Christ even when they teach contradictions from the Bible? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:11am On May 24 |
Michael547:Highlight where I said something like what I bolded in this your comment. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:12am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:😁😁this guy.....so you did not mean that the Catholics and Pentecostals are true Christians again? |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:14am On May 24 |
Michael547:Do what I said you should do. Otherwise, suit yourself. You are claiming I said what I never said. So, point out where I said it. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:18am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:😁😁😁na wa for this oga suit yourself......it's obvious you don't know even know who a true Christian is, since you don't even know If all denominations today are acceptable to christ or not with their conflicting doctrines. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:19am On May 24 |
Michael547:If you know what you think I don't know, you could have answered the three questions I presented to you. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:20am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:I would not answer it cause you are the teacher here. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:22am On May 24 |
Michael547:You should answer them because you never accepted what I said. It is either you accept that what I said is right or you give explanations why what I said is wrong. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:25am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:I never said you were right or wrong. I just discovered you don't have answers to my questions. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:28am On May 24 |
Michael547:There is no question of yours I didn't address. I answered your questions. But instead of you to agree that the answers are right or for you to prove the answers wrong, you diverted from the answers to saying other things. This clearly shows that you are inconsistent and the insincere in the conversation. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:29am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:Lol....you are funny....I have been consistent with a question that you were just beating about the bush...a simple yes and no answer would have sufficed. But it's obvious you don't know the answer. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 10:31am On May 24 |
Michael547:You are the one beating around the bush by asking me about doctrines when my comment is not about doctrines. |
Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 10:32am On May 24 |
immortalcrown:Rest sir....since you don't have answers. |

Michael547:Rest madam, since you cannot challenge me within the context of my comment. |

Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 11:55am On May 24 |
Livingdeath:What you dropped here proves you wrong and proves me right. Things like baptism and the holy communion mentioned in what you dropped here are not condemned even in Pentecostal Churches and in the holy Bible. What you dropped here, epecially the concluding part, explains that there are Christians in the Roman Catholic Church. That concluding part backs up my claim that the caption of your post is very wrong. If you think it is right for you to refer to Catholics as non-Christians, then you yourself should disagree with the concluding part of what you yourself dropped here for me. You contradict yourself so much when you refer to Catholics and non-Christians and you still believe the article that says that there are Christians in the Catholic. Also, you are just beating around the bush. You listed seven points out of which the 6th and the 7th ones are based on your sentiments. I countered those 7 points and challenged you to use the Bible to prove me wrong. You are unable to use the Bible to prove me wrong. So what exactly do you intend to achieve? Point out where the holy Bible says it is wrong for me to ask a friend or a saint to pray for me. Point out where the holy Bible says it is wrong for the Catholic or for anyone to use candle to represent light in the Church. Point out where the Bible says it is wrong to respect anybody or to respect the virgin Mary. Until you do this, you have no fact against the Catholic Church. |

...respect the virgin mary....which one? the one not knowing what is going on in your life and chilling in Heaven? she is already being honoured-by God who accepted her into heaven, that is the honour of those who believe in christ.so she doesnt need all these praise. immortalcrown: 1 Like

crying blood? I fear😱

Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by immortalcrown(m): 1:15pm On May 24 |
Livingdeath:whatever you think about the Catholics respecting the Virgin Mary does not matter here. What matters here is that you have not been able to use any bible passage to condemn the act of respecting the Virgin Mary. Therefore, you have no fact against the Catholic Church in this case. |
