Don't mind them. They played like crap last week against everton. All of a sudden they remembered how to play.

I'll take the draw. Played with two make shift full backs. Emery's game is hugely dependent on full backs bombing forward and putting the ball in to the box by either cut backs or crosses. Neither Xhaka nor Litchstener is good at even going forward.

Hopefully Bellerin and Monreal are fit for the pool game.

Litchstener really is a significant downgrade on Bellerin and is nowhere good enough for even a mid table EPL team. I'm sorry but Kolasinac too isn't good enough and Monreal is almost past it. There is also the issue of lack of natural winger.

The squad needs investing in and I really hope the board backs Emery in the next couple of transfer windows. A good coach needs the right tools to do well.

Yep... Well conned. But it was really cute to hear the commentator say it was an easy call. I think it was Andy Townsend. The man kept yapping about Lacazette hand ball that led to the goal, but was silent about the blatant shirt pulling that led to the corner which resulted in Palace first goal.
