i read aletheia's post three times. I cant find the "strife" or abuse there. Actually i think your problem is becoming a little clearer to me - you have a fanatical devotion to the teachings of your church. 3. Note the doctrine is itself completely opposite of Christ's constant admonition to keep our gaze focused on things above and not on things below. How can we focus on heaven when we are too busy struggling to show people that we indeed "own the world"? Is anyone surprised that christians now embezzle funds, appropriate lands to themselves, hoard wealth and base the level of their "faith" on the size of their bank accounts? Afterall they own the world now no?

21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
