ipledge10:Too little time left. There really wasn't much they could do there.
They started too slowly for a home team and Belichick is just a Babalawo, he knew that keeping the ball off Mahomes hands over the course of the game was their only shot at winning.

He is a perfect example of how to waste a max contract...still wonder how he got picked as 1st overall
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:41pm On Jan 22
Khanben:The hype was maaad! Folks swore he was the next LeBron if I recall
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 1:18pm On Jan 22
So nobody is going to talk about Klay Thompson?
Somebody finished with an eFG of 110%. Yikes
Somebody scored 44 points on 20 shots. Double Yikes
Somebody shot 10/11 from 3. Ewoooo
All in 26 minutes!!! Chaiiiiiii
The way he inconsistently plays then smash an NBA record after is what I low-key hate about that motherfücker.
Which other 3 point record wey those 2 never break?
Take a bow...
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:07pm On Jan 22
Decale:Maybe that's why nobody is talking about him..........
Re: The NBA Begins by Curtisaxel7(m): 5:38pm On Jan 22
Lol. Shoutout to everybody here abeg. I didn't realize that Basketball had such a number of avid followers in Nigeria. (Abi una be U.S based?).
In any case, una dey try.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:58pm On Jan 22
Lmaooooo Klay has lately been a bully to these lesser teams. Lottery teams especially, Didn't he drop 50 against the Bulls the other day? I'm hardly surprised tbh
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 7:08pm On Jan 22
You just called the bulls a lottery team? Decale will start crying now
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 8:32pm On Jan 22
Embiid would have probably gone number one if He did not injure himself. Also you really can't blame Minnesota's front office for picking Wiggins. They couldn't have forseen Andrew's total lack of commitment to improving himself as a player. We are talking about a Guy that had a ridiculously high Ceiling. One of the greatest two way players of all time calibre talent. Unfortunately His is a case of unfulfiled potential.
If only He had the work ethic or the drive of an Embiid or Adetokunbo.

donlittle25:Them the Knicks, Suns and Cavs are in the race for Zion right now #TankForZion
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:27pm On Jan 22
chic2pimp:He's still only 23 and I hate writing off young players but I don't know if the Wolves paid him too early and he just got comfortable. If this was the NFL where most of the money isn't guaranteed he would be facing a cut.
He's usually healthy and each time I remember guys like Brandon Roy who tried and tried to make comebacks but his body just didn't let him it makes Wiggins efforts even more disrespectful to his team
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 10:45pm On Jan 22
I'm not completely writing Him off. He just wouldn't develop into the Superstar athlete we thought He would. I have little hope He'll get much better than He currently is. The Lad seems to have plateued. He is neither progressing nor regressing. It's a sad sight. Nevermind Number one option, If Wiggins is your Number two option, you have little to no chance of winning a chip.
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 10:47pm On Jan 22
This year's draft is looking deep. This Ja Morant Kid is looking special. I am Following His development closely.
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:00am On Jan 23
your senseof justice mehn
they did move the refs out of NO that night
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:02am On Jan 23
Looks like another kobe. the things this guy does on the court! Buuut, can it translate in a league of big, fast athletic men.
Re: The NBA Begins by KNIGHTBlaed(m): 4:26am On Jan 23
This is the Westbrook we all want to see. OKC is a legit threat, na now I just believe them. PG13!!
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 7:29am On Jan 23
OKC is a legit treat but they still need outside shooting and bench scoring. Against the blazers their bench had just 19 points.
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 7:39am On Jan 23
Wiggins just simply lacks effort and the will to put it all on the line game after game
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 5:48pm On Jan 23
I think it will if you don't put immediate pressure on the Young Lad. Also from what I have seen thus far, I don't see How this Dude won't be a sucess in the NBA. If not for any other reason but His off the charts work ethic alone. To go from being Unranked in High School to being a projected Top 3-5 pick in the NBA draft all in the space of two years is pretty insane.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:06am On Jan 24
I have no regrets saying, Nigeria is truly a “Shiiit hole”. Don’t ask me why, because you already know. That being said, “Home will always be home”.
I am happy to be back and happy new year to everyone.

bro, what happened? I was in lagos last month....i am normally an optimistic person, but this time
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 5:41pm On Jan 24
Lmao bruh I saw that and I have to ask Roland what happened?
That is one of the most random post I have seen from him
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 8:49pm On Jan 24
Roland17:why? I've spent 5months here. I've not enjoyed a single week since I came.
Home is just home and nothing more.
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 3:06pm On Jan 25
All-star starters list is just whew, i want to complain about AD not making it in the west, but every other person there deserved it.
The next step for the league after elimination east and west from the game proper, is to just make the selections itself about, the best 24 players of the first half of the league irrespective of conference.
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 9:09pm On Jan 25
All Star is for entertainment. Not World Cup.
They've interfered enough...
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:18am On Jan 26
Khanben:He's still so young it feels bad that anybody should be writing him off at this age. I think he has the ability, you see it some nights when he's engaged but these are too few and far between. I always use D'Angelo Russell as an example. A high draft pick traded just after two seasons. A lesser man would be demoralized but he grit his teeth and is dropping a career year, he's younger, smaller than Wiggins and playing for a far worse team yet he isn't using that as an excuse to not ball
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:22am On Jan 26
birdman:That's the beauty of sports. Ojoro must always cancel. I wanted the Saints to win but when we got robbed I didn't see the media or anybody displaying that same energy.
They won the OT toss, they were home. They had a second chance to win the game and didn't so let them just free
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:45am On Jan 26
Khanben:KD is probably the only person I can take AD out for but then what are the odds of that happening
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:48am On Jan 26
chic2pimp:He is not trying. And doesn't seem to care. I think that lies his biggest problem. It's disappointing because you see players each year add a new tool to their game but he is actually regressing each year --stats back it up-- so you have to wonder if Minnesota aren't regretting prematurely paying him max
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:02am On Jan 26
James Harden outchea resurrecting Kenneth Faried's career. and guarding Kawhi Leonard
Eric Gordon was definitely high on something those last few seconds
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 12:45pm On Jan 26
I decided to vacation in Nigeria and my brother, the environmental stressors in Nigeria, particularly in Lagos deducts life span worth more the reprehensible level of poverty and hunger, which is fueled by unemployment. People are suffering in Nigeria, I mean genuine suffer, with little or no hope for any respite.
Donbaba, happy new year. I left Nigeria with so much pain and hurt. Forget the nonsense most of these stuff people post online, Nigeria is in a big mess.
You said it all Baba, Home is just home and nothing more. I have no regrets visiting and I encourage everyone living in Diaspora irrespective of citizenship to visit home.
