I warned you guys about believing too much in this team.

They are playing with a lot of baggage on their hands; no pay or support from NBBF. Hardly any love for Basketball from Majority of Nigerians. So, don't expect a miracle from them

Perhaps, but it's not like they were totally trash. They stood up to the fight. I have a feeling they can cause an upset against Argentina, if they guard the perimeter better. This is me with my optimist hat on grin

cool we need to defend the perimeter, that is key. And quit rushing our shots.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:21am On Sep 02
This Facundo and Laprovittola duo don nearly take 3pointer finish us.

Not beating Russia was a huge mistake. We are out more or less
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:35am On Sep 02
Yet again, Nigeria fall short, losing 94-81 to Argentina. Argentina move into the next group phase. Nigeria will be hoping for Korea to beat Russia later today for them to still have a chance, and that would only be if Nigeria beat Korea and Argentina beat Russia in the last game.

I don't know what kind of tactic this was, but China were leading by 3 with 13 seconds to go, and they intentionally fouled Poland on the inbound. Poland made both free throws, then fouled on the inbound. It's has now backfired as they both go into overtime.

Host nation now struggling too even with the weak group they put them which most of us know was fixed.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:12pm On Sep 03
Wow, hat an intense sequence of events to end the Greek vs Brazil game. Brazil led by 2 with few seconds to go, Greece attempted an alley oop on the inbound but missed, then they had to foul. Brazil mad 1 of 2 free throws to lead by 3. With 6 seconds remaining Greece needed to make a 3 to send the game to overtime. As the clock wined down, they attempted a 3 from inside their own half and got fouled stupidly by Brazil. Greece made the first 2 and then missed the third. Brazil won 79-78.

It does not look like he has done during the off-season. His play is still pretty much predictable and the Brazilian coach even bragged about a soon to be 40 year old Varejao stopping Giannis. If he does not expand his offense he length of his peak will be short.
Re: The NBA Begins by PDPGuy: 3:21pm On Sep 05
Team USA thorough thrashed Japan 98-45! Imagine if the likes of Curry, Lebron, Kawhi, and Durant were part of this team, it could have been a 120-point win grin
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:45pm On Sep 05
Antonio Brown definitely has a serious mental and behavioral problem and we are watching him plummet gradually because of his selfishness and ridiculous sense of entitlement. I just read he had a confrontation with Mayock and the Raiders plan to suspend him. This man is going to end his career with a lot of regrets.

I don't think he's ok up there. This is beyond normal. He might want to go for a check up. He obviously has no love for the game like he claimed.

I have always seen this as a mental health problem for AB and it has progressively gotten worse. His reaction to situations is excessive/ extreme if you consider that a typical response should be moderate or mild. His behavioral problem has only made it worse and masked the mental side of it. For a league that claims to have increased awareness of mental health, I am disappointed that no one from the league office has suggested the need for him to consult with a therapist. I am worried AB will do something very stupid pretty soon if he does not get help.

He's not recovered from that hit on the head by Burfict.

I was telling everyone who cared to listen that AB was a cancer that had to go and people were blaming Big Ben and Steelers organization. I'm glad my team has been vindicated

Will they cut him? I mean imagine calling your own team 'haters' for fining you for not showing up to your job. The entitlement grin grin

You think he'll agree to see a therapist? Dude needs to take a break off. He has made a complete mess of himself and they better let him walk.

E dey vex me because some clowns thought the Steelers were the problem. Like you have a problematic child but outsiders who aren't dealing with the drama on a daily are dropping opinions

They probably won't let him walk. They are that desperate to put out a decent product this season before moving to Vegas.

Gruden doesn't really care about your character so long as you can play. For you to have Burfict and Incognito in your team and then go after Antonio Brown tells you all you need to know.

We are looking forward to the circus they will be this year anyway

I think humility and common sense should be in the curriculum in schools.

Lmaoooo he's been cut. How do you fumble that kind of bag!! Is this nigga cursed? $30m just to shut up and play!

The guy must be dealing with CTE already. He needs to see an expert expeditiously
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:18pm On Sep 07
Antonio Brown has joined the Patriots. I'm not even surprised

God help the rest of the league
