The Lakers just made the biggest mistake in its coaching history, Mike D' Antoni for crying out loud has the worst defensive record with all the teams he has coached in the NBA, if the Lakers are looking to put more points on the board then there is no Problem, but if they are hoping to challenge for the NBA title with Mike, then they are joking. Nash would turn 39 next month(I stand to be corrected) he's no longer the younger Nash that won 2 MVP under coach mike, Mike's offense makes everyone a shooter and am looking at the current Lakers roaster and asking where are the ball shooters apart from Kobe and a Steve Nash whom i doubt can physically withstand the rigors of the NBA considering his age. And am i the only one looking at the Lakers bench and shaking my head in despair? the Lakers bench is Horrible, that bench cant win any game. Even if it meant acquiring a cheaper Brian Shaw ( former assistant of Phil and current assistant of Frank Vogel) would have solved this issue, We all heard the Fans yelling for Phil for crying out loud. Jim Bus has just thrown the Lakers under the bus with this appointment, he definitely wants someone he can control and u and i Know Phil takes no Shiit from anyone. The Lakers would win more games, but as for the Championship, Kevin Durant and Tim Duncan must be smiling right now. |

You guys shouldn't sleep on the Clippers! That's another team I feel can challenge in the West @Roland17 I'm not sure it would be such a disaster overall I think the Lakers have good defenders in their starting V bar Nash and Gasol. The Western Conference suits D'Antoni's offensive style well so it would be more about outscoring opposition |
