So the special scam has been chased away. Ole has his work cut out for him. How do you guys think Ole should best approach the task he has been given?

Dayo will always support Pep over Mou and it's normal for him to post that.

That said, a look at Pep first team shows he changed the entire back 4 + keeper, and the only remaining starting attacker is Aguero I think. He got Sane, Silva, Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus.

So it's even logical to say at time of resumption, Mourinho had a younger team which some can interpret for better.
sterling was signed before Pep joined.

Sterling superhuman? Seriously? Is this how you rate players?

Ederson
Walker
LaPorte
Stones
Mendy
Delph
Guodogan
Mahrez
Jesus
Sane
Bernardo
Sterling

That's 12 players Pep bought that will start for Pep and he will have a very competitive team. He has had to do without Kompany, KDB, Silva, Aguero at some point for a short or long stretch and the team played very well. I'm not even talking about the result, but that they played very well

Now let's see what Mourinho did with his money?

Guardiola did not buy Sterling.

Again Guardiola did not have to do without all the star players at once.

Lastly, Pep has spent more than Mourinho both gross and net spending. The extra money could have made a difference. It is also not Mourinho's fault that when United show interest in a player, the transfer price double. This has made Woodward to lose out on the prime targets.

Which of Mourinho's signing is doing well at the moment? The most expensive midfielder, most expensive striker or the highest paid player in the league.

Now which of Pep signings is playing below average?

It's not Mourinho's fault but the club supported him to get the most expensive players in midfield, strike and the most paid player in England. You say Mourinho went after griezeman but which club has been able to buy Griezzy if it was that easy abi no other big club wants him?

Klopp and Pep went after softer targets but Mourinho wants the most expensive players everywhere when the ones he currently had are seriously underperforming. They don't even start anymore

Don't be silly, you can't argue with the fact that he is the most successful coach in the business right now.

Sometimes it depends on the whole team, the foundation met on ground. Even Messi cannot replicate his performance in Barca for Argentina. Just imagine if Messi were to play for South Africa national team.

thats because u guys are always forming you have money. We were watching to see how far you can go with the stunt.

Sometimes u just have to call the bluff of these selling clubs and players. Pep did it with Sanchez and Mahrez in January and it paid off.

Someone needs to find Slimghost and inform him that Mou is no longer a United Manager. I'm very sure if he's on sickbed, he's gonna recover 100% immediately he's informed.

It is easier to take such a decision when your team is performing

Otamendi who has played a big role in stabilizing City defence and ensure a transition from Kompany to the current was not bought by Guardiola. Stones deal was advanced before the arrival of Guardiola.

I remember, my argument was clear and same, City core players were still sharp to ensure a transition to Guardiola. Aguero, Silva, Fernadino, Otamendi, Kevin De Bruyne etc. Kompany could still offer a solid one year at the time. Sterling was there.

You cannot argue we had a better team than City which won the league and finished fourth in UCL at a time we were struggling to finish in between 4th & 6th in the league.

So when counting the players that Pep signed as part of his spending are we going to exclude JohnStones because it was advanced deal?

Citys core players were old.
E.g The typical City lineup was Hart, Zabaleta/Sagna, Otamendi, Kompany/Mangala, Clichy/Kolarov, Yaya, Fernando, Fernandinho, Navas, Silva, KDB Aguero

The bold players are either out or just bench players at this moment, So where are the inherited

Foe example the lineup in the CL semi vs Madrid is shown below. Only 3 of the 11 are core players now 2 Otamendi and Kompany are bench players the others have all been replaced.

So where are these key players that were good that he inherited. Silva was thought to be going downhill, Sterling was a joke in his first city and last Liverpool season

"When a manager like Solskjaer has this chance [it is] because the club decide he can do it. It happened in my case quite similar, we were young and had the opportunity so try to do out best........

This team was far better than what we had. These were the most used players, and KDB despite on a long term injury was the 12th most used player.

How many times has Messi score hatrick in the world cup? How many final goals does he have for his national team (compared to final cup final goals for Barca). If Messi has been scoring 1 or 2 goals each in every final he plays, he would have won Argentina many trophies.

A team can make or mar a player. Every big star that has come to United since the exit of Vidic, Evra, Nani, Scholes, Ferdinand and Giggs have failed to perform. Perhaps it is looking worse now that Rooney has also retired to complete a total exit if the club legends.

But Guardiola inherited club legends like Aguero, Kompany. Even legends in the making like Fernadino, Otamendi Kevin De Bruyne and Sterling.
