Thing is, since I'm not an Everton fan, I didn't watch every single match of Fellaini at that time but the few I watched I swear the guy was legit throwing pogba-ish passes around. Maybe na coincidence sha. Coupled with the articles I read that time on bleachers report and co at that time that his strong attributes were Tackling and Passing. So my perception of him was different.
