I've always seen Martial as an SS and he's starting to look like a CF this season.

Martial is better at take-ons, teamplay, and his final balls are far better than Rashford’s.

Rashford has more pace and shot power. If we get a 9 that guarantees goals, Martial will displace Rashy from that wing- assuming he doesn’t disappear in games as usual.

This is wrong. Rashford does not create space for his full back to run into. He usually hugs the wing, gets the ball, does a little tippy-tappy with it, and then passes back to the LB.

Martial has the same MO, but he is better with the ball on the wing.

Rashford has a blistering pace and it aids him in counters. However, M9 is no pushover in counter attacking football either. His pace is not bad and he’ll probably have the better end result than Rashy because he makes better decisions (instead of dribbling himself into a cul de sac).

The only area where Rashy really trumps him is in tracking back and helping the defense.

So funny whenever I see statement like this

Martial is in form this season and Rashford is playing rubbish, at the end they have the same goals with Rashford having higher assist ....make una calm down, it's just injury effect

All first team attackers have better teamplay and decision making than Rashford.

Hopefully he learns how not to overhit a simple pass or decide to dribble when he should’ve given a pass.

True. If he can get enough minutes he’ll be useful.

I was hoping Lindelof will come really good for us but now I don’t think he can grow to be a dependable defender. Although he’s good with the ball at his feet, he’s weak at the wrong moments and he is an easy target for Opposition strikers.
