I guess your calculation is Principal × Interest/ 100 which will give you 100% of what you invested now but it's the wrong formula[/quot

What is the right formular ?

Can you share the current fact sheet of VGIF?

The fact sheets is per quarter. It's the Q3 that is available. Waiting for Q4.

Oga Emma, Please why are your returns not as high as some other fixed income funds that are yielding over 20%?

VGIF is unique in its function:

Rate is benchmarked with SDF and can only be changed by 1st July or 1st January of any year if there is a change in SDF
No Management fees
35% of excess yield above the benchmarked rate is shared by all investors.
It's not priced ie price of fund is flat at N1

This is unlike your bank, why didn't you carry out the transaction through your bank

Please mention the name of the branch and bank, you better escalated the issue

I carried out the transaction through my bank.
Stanbic IBTC Asaba branch

Stanbic IBTC is a great bank but of recent some of their staff are becoming dubious. I heard on Human Right Radio that one account officer in one of their Kano branches duped his customer for about 52M because the customer was not literate. The man only came to realize that when a partner he issue a cheque of 12M did not see anything to cash and had him arrested.

So you need to put your feet down. Combine all medium to let them explain. If your Twitter account is a vibrant one, the better for you. If it is not, as you twit it on their page you may get other vibrant accounts/influencers to help you retwit it too. You can also call their customer service. Mail them and copy CBN even though this time the CBN complaint unit no longer seem to be as active as it used to be.

I knew this move would come but the relative ease suprised me... It's in price discovery... TA can only estimate support and when to take profits. I believe buyers will defend 19.6k if it gets there.

The way big institutions are buying up supply in millions of $ is likely the driving force.
The money that'd be made over the next few months would be surreal... My plan now is to device when and where to take profits so as not to give it all to the market. Once Beetcoinn settles above 20k, except others to start doubling their value. That said, I expect huge volatility both ways... My plan will be to load up on fips till it stops working

Those who waited several years for this deserve every penny that comes.

10% WHT is what you pay on dividends
You will get the net amount

For Zenirh (and a couple of banks anyways)
Dividends is paid typically twice in a year
An interim dividend
And a final dividend

Thanks a lot boss. Once I enter the train fully I go they seek your advice Sirs.

Okay. Thanks. I think the larger funds were able to buy up large quantities of bonds before rates fell that they are now selling at huge premiums. This is probably what is driving their massive returns.
